Melina Hotel

Melina Hotel is a great hotel for price and location! We LOVED our stay here! Breakfast every morning was a great way to start the day. A short walk to the bus stop that can take you to any location you like on the island. Also a short walk to Fira, which is the best town to be closest to on the island. Would go back.

We stayed three nights at the Melina Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The hotel was clean and relatively comfortable. Our room was near the pool, which was very nice. Breakfast was very good, with a nice variety each day. The best part was the staff! The owner was extremely helpful with providing directions to various must-see spots and provided a great map. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the town and tour buses, which was quite convenient. We were lucky to find this hotel and plan to stay there again, should we make it to Santorini again.

Got locked in the room twice. Fire hazard. The toilet smelled like sewage. The towels were dirty and hard. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The couch looked like it hadn't been clean in years. The breakfast was atrocious with grilled cheese , old toast , a pundcake and an egg. The staff was not friendly although helpful at times. Made us feel uncomfortable and stupid when we got locked in our room and our safety was in danger

The staff was exceptionally helpful in giving direct us directions to destinations and making calls and arrangements to help us get there. Breakfast is served in the morning in a lovely little dining area.

We had a brilliant time at the Melina Hotel. The pool was beautiful and never crowded. We were given brilliant service. It's such a personal hotel as it's a family run business. The owner went above and beyond to help us out and really made our stay in Santorini. The hotel is only a few minutes walk into the centre of Thira and was perfect for our short stay.

Very nice small hotel, very clean with nice and helpful staff. Location has some plus and minus: you can get that by car and also has parking, it is close to the central bus station and the main square, but walking uphill through the public parking lot to get to the town may not please everybody.

the room is really basic. However, the staff is friendly and the location is good. To city centre is around 15 minutes by walk.

Fantastic hotel, helpful staff, excellent location 5minutes to Fira, free breakfast, brilliant pool, clean rooms, daily housekeeping, clean. Highly recommend

The hotel is 7 minutes walk from fira bus station. Fira is very beautiful place and capital of Santorini.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great served at our table, rooms are clean, easy access to main bus station, pool is clean and nice!
