Theartemis Palace

We spent 6 wonderful days at The Artemis Palace and were very pleased with our entire stay. The hotel is elegant, very clean, and has friendly staff who are attentive to guests’ needs. The rooms are comfortable, the food is varied and delicious, and the location is excellent—close to the beach and a pleasant walking distance from the old town center of Rethymno. We’d like to extend special thanks to Ms. Eleni Kouklinou, Guest Relations Manager, for her professionalism, kindness, and exceptional care for guests. She helped us arrange the transfer from the airport to the hotel, and our communication with her was impeccable even before our arrival. Her helpfulness and communication with her was impeccable even before our arrival. Her helpfulness and attention to detail contributed significantly to our pleasant experience. We warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and carefree vacation in Crete. We would definitely love to come back!😊

We came home from a lovely stay in Theartemis Palace. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially Leonidas ( the one with the famous ancestors!) . The food was very good, a nice variety! We booked all in, and it said in the brochure that local alcoholic drinks were included, not! We do like a Metaxa in the evening, a very Greek drink, but it was not included, so we had to pay extra. The hygiene was excellent in the common areas, in our room it depended on the cleaning lady. We are not the people who leave a mess in their room, we tidy up. The one lady was a real jewel and we tipped her every day. The other one just made the bed and emptied the bins and that was it. Overall it was lovely and we would recommend it to all travellers!

The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel was really close to everything. First, we got a room from the second floor, but we got to upgrade the room for free. (To the third floor, the room was a superior room and it was renovated.) The upgrade was given to us so we would get a more quiet room. The atmosphere was very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was fine, the churros were good. The room was cleaned every day (towels were changed, bed was made). The overall cleanliness was extremely great. The hotel’s service was good and the workers were nice and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel, it was worth the money!

Hotel is brilliant! Really smart, clean and comfortable. The buffet options for breakfast were fresh and varied with lots of indoor and outdoor tables. The bar round the pool was great, quick service with lovely food. Our room was clean and very quiet. The location is just off the beach front and around a 20-25 minute walk to the old town which I would highly recommend doing as it’s a lovely walk and the old town is fantastic! The staff at the hotel are also really welcoming and helpful. As soon as you step foot into the hotel, you are welcomed with big smiles and great service!

The only thing that could be made easier would be the system for the pool towels. You have to go to the hotel opposite the road to get towels if you need them and the system is quite confusing and lengthy. Other than that, the hotel was great!

Negative Conference attendees in the hotel have high priority as the pool was closed at 3pm in order to prepare gala dinner. No advance info about this. There was fire alarm on one day and no action or info from personnel. No information sign about last service in elevators. Internet connection was really awfull and slow. Positive Food was good and several choices especially fresh fruits and fish. Especially soups were very tasty. Rooms were nice and clean. Hotel is near to the beach, but no noisy traffic nearby.

From room 421, great view, soundless room and excellent cleaning services, friendly personal, good quality swimming pool. Ioanna helped with F1, Nancy helped with travel places and Frouless bar, and Costas the groom and Elpida are nice and kind.

Lovely staff, warm welcome, great food variety. Kostas in particular was very kind to our child. Overall very kind And helpful with our needs.

Bed needs replacement, too soft And a bit uncomfortable

Very friendly service. Food was very good and it was easy to eat healthy. It was quite disappointing to understand that if you don't have all inclusive, you can't have even a bottle of water for free with your dinner. The older lady didn't even ask whether we want to pay for it, she simply decided for us. If the 1,5 l bottle is 0,30€ in the shop, why it is 3,50€ for quests? This is a matter of principal. Small glass of wine was 10€, that made us laugh, so over priced! The hairdryer in the room was poor, and there was no mirror near any plugs, so it was very difficult to do the hair with the straighting iron. The timetables do not mean anything, the gym and pools supposed to be open 10-18 but often there were people much before that.
