H10 Salauris Palace

Location was perfect for a nice stroll to the markets and the beach, while also being a good decent away from the noise. Property was well kept every morning a deep clean was being done, no issues with sunbeds or food. Gym Basic equipment enough to train what’s needed, would prefer more heavier weights and kettlebells but that’s me being picky, Spa We all had a massage which was ok, not amazing but definitely felt relaxed. Food Plenty of choice, kids selection not much is changed over the course of the week. Themed nights are great we enjoyed “Mexican” the most. Entertainment Animation team throughout the day to get everyone active and participating in activities. Night entertainment ok. Room Decent size, small fridge big enough for 4 tall water bottles. Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner all available in room. Towels changed each day, beds also made every day! Beds are big singles very comfortable. Hairdryers are hideous the usual travel small sized ones that take about 2 hours to dry your hair. Iron - available from spa on request, deposit required. Location 10 minute walk to the beach and local shops / stalls etc If eating out we definitely would recommend bamboo, if looking for a fun experience we recommend the speed boat. Overall a fantastic hotel we are already planning to come back next year!

At times members of staff who worked in the restaurant appeared rude or did not know English which led to confusion and frustration on other members of our party.

Fantastic hotel would definitely stay again. Booked a superior room, was spacious with a lovely pool view and coffee machine. Good location for the theme parks, which is what we wanted, little walk to the beach but not too far. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss in the evenings but that wasn't important to us. Restaurant was clean and well replenished. Typical hotel food but there was always something to eat. Pool area was lovely, although I could see it being extremely crowded in peak season. Have stayed in both the H10 salauris and the H10 princess and would certainly recommend these hotels and would stay again.

Only criticism for me but this is my personal opinion..plates were cold, the food was not hot at breakfast or evening meal..lots of choices for breakfast meal but not for evening, but this is only because I’m fussy. There is a microwave but shouldn’t have to warm food up it should be hot and plates should be warm. Kettle would have been nice, we took our own kettle and provisions so we could have a hot drink before breakfast as we are early birds. I feel the drinks at the bar were very overpriced, so I went to the shop and purchased some which saved us some money. Also I feel one drink should be included in your evening meal but instead you have purchase additional drinks. But again my own opinion.

Estuve en la quinta planta, cogieron fiesta las chicas de la limpieza y luego limpiaban un hombre. Con las chicas perfecto con el hombre solo hacia las camas y mientras estuvo el no cambio las toallas ni un día, las encontré igual que las dejé . Las sábanas de las camas creo qué eran las mismas, porque una de ellas tenía un punto negro y siempre estaba esa es muy raro que todas tuvieran el mismo punto negro

Nice big rooms and bathroom. Half board good value for money. Nice rooftop adult only pool area as although not school holidays there were lots of children. Good location for walking to train station or Portadventura. We took train to Tarragona and you can also get to Barcelona.

Myself, my partner, and her brother stayed here the first week of June. It's quite a large hotel that though quite busy, caters well for families with younger children. The rooms are quite spacious and cleaned daily. Breakfast and dinner are buffet service, and offer plenty of choice, we particularly enjoyed whatever fish was on offer at the evening grill station. Sunbeds were generally available either at the main pool or the adult only roof pool. Though if you prefer a favoured spot probably best to join the dreaded sunbed queue prior to 9am. Outside the hotel take a short walk to the fabulous Salou beach, several beach bars available, and a nice flat walk along the promenade to the quieter Vilafortuny, or a short bus ride to Cambrils. Lunch can be purchased at the hotel, though there are plenty of options in Salou. We would certainly recommend Casa Ramon and Coffee Break Salou. Beverage prices at the hotel are great, decent quality, and generally no cheaper outside. All staff, at buffet, reception, cleaning, and bars are friendly and hard working. Particular shout out to Mike (animation}, Facu (pool bar), and Connor (snack bar), who do their utmost to ensure your holiday is enjoyable. As Mike would say, when on holiday Wakey Wakey! Shakey Shakey!
