Great location and nice room...

struggled to work oput how to get the heater on...!

Improvement should be possible. It took us half an hour to get in, at 1630, so not really a complicated time, I received 5 emails the week before; "what time do you arrive" and answered 4 times; between 1600 and 1700, the "answer" button does not work!! (Expedia problem??) but I found ways to answer, then I received back answers like; "you will find the key to your accommodation, inside the blackbox a the right on the door. Code 811"(which was a wrong code) and "Ok. Write US on -----------" and "please write us on ----------- for check in" all very cryptic, no idea what was meant. Anyway when we finally followed a cleaning person we followed and entered the gate (no doorbell at the gate) (no doorbell at the entrance) after calling once more, and getting the blackbox open there where 4 keys, but I did not have my room number. Once more calling them it appeared......... .........they where inside the hotel! Furthermore no breakfast available (until the 1st of may)

complessivamente è stata un'esperienza positiva, da migliorare il comfort. La camera era pulita, ma si aveva la sensazione che fosse stata fatta una pulizia veloce e si sentiva odore di fumo, anche se non fortissimo. A meno di 2 km dalle mura di Lucca

Big room with bathroom included!!

The stuff was very friendly and accomodative. The room was well-kept and very nice with a huge comfy bed and enough dressers and shelves to put away our things. We additionally appreciated electric teapot in the room together with cups and some tea collection. Personally, I enjoyed a lot a huge bathtub with hot water for relaxation. The owners don't try to save money at the expence of the comfort of their guests: hot water was hot indeed, and the batteries worked very well heating up the room up until 23 degrees. In case for someone it is too much though, there is a climate control: a perfectly working air conditioner + openable windows to let fresh air into the room. Overall, 55 euros for 1 night that we spend there was well-deserved and totally worth it. I imagine that in the warmer time of the year when the pool will be open, the stay would be even better.

1) Wi-Fi was a bit unstable: my boyfriend had troubles connecting to it, but we managed to watch a movie on my tablet with no problems, and on my devices it worked well. 2) In the bathtab the cap that is used to block the water from going away didn't block the flow completely, and so I had to keep the water going. However, it was possible to fill the whole tub anyway because the flow of water from the faucet was stronger than the flowing away rate with the cap closed.

Excellent value for money! Breakfast was great and there was also a large parking area. The structure, close to the city center (1.5 km), was also reachable by bus.

perfect place. Easy to find, in a great location. Basic rooms with everything you need. Excellent cleanliness, staff always answers the phone at any time. We also liked that the air conditioning was adjustable by us, without limits! really a great advantage. Internal parking accessible with code; comfortable beds and garden outside. PERFECT!

Nothing it was garbage, my American friends out there. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! YOU ARE BEING LIED TO!

EVERYTHING!! The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom even worse, it had a stench that was unbearable. The room looked outdated, and the staff was no help. And blamed us for not having a good room? The photos don’t display the true building and rooms. We booked 2 beds. And only showed up to 1 bed, we asked the manager to refund us the money and we go somewhere else. Instead they brought us some pillows and blanket to sleep on this horrible fold out mattress on the ground.

Old hotel, but nice and clean. The pool and the hotel terrasse were so great.
