What a fantastic little gem right in the heart of Santiago. There is nothing too much trouble for the staff in the Herradura. Gorgeous breakfast at a time that suits. My mum and I stayed for 3 days whilst walking parts of the Camino. Nice dark rooms and peaceful atmosphere! We will be back!

Very well managed hotel in a convenient location, in walking distance to major sights and Restaurants. Very friendly staff, from owner to receptionists. We arrived after midnight due to flight delay and were welcomed by their reception staff who immediately offered to take our luggage to our rooms for us so we can shoot for the last restaurants still open. Hotel was generally quiet but of course during a weekend there were the fun living Spaniards revelers throughout the night drinking and singing. Breakfast was sumptuous and very reasonably priced. We like the hotels interiors, very simple but elegant, using quality material. All in all, we were very happy and will stay here again if we come back to Santiago de Compostela.

Great experience with amazing service.

i had a very enjoyable 3 nights stay at this hotel. Check in was quick and efficient. The gentleman on the reception was polite and very helpful when I needed some assistance and even took my luggage to my room. My room was on the 1st floor with views of a back road. My room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot, powerful and amazing after a long day's walk. The wifi is free and excellent. The hotel is well situated for easy access to the Cathedral which was a 10 min walk. There are lots of shops and restaurants within a 10 mins walk. The only negative about this hotel is their lift. It can only accommodate 2 people at one time. I would stay at this hotel again if I came back to Santiago de Compostela.

The main disadvantage is the noise in the night time.

Excellent service, location and facilities. The hotel staff is particularly friend and accommodating.
