We didn't really have a pleasant stay at this property, but above all we were disappointed by the response or the lack of apology that we expected. The hotel was full of worms. They were everywhere, not only outside but in the room, near the hotel laundry, in the internal children's play area, near the kitchens and in the dining room. Our terrace was full of them and we couldn't open the windows otherwise they would immediately enter the room. The staff, who generally speak English with difficulty, justified themselves by saying that it was humid. It was also humid in other places in the area, and I certainly didn't see any worms. And anyway it was not an isolated episode, but an impressive quantity that could only be resolved with a specific treatment. Even the cleaning of the room, especially the bathroom, left something to be desired. I also have an accommodation facility with a very large park, and when problems with insects or pests arose, I immediately proceeded to call the appropriate disinfestation companies, as well as whenever inconveniences occurred which ruined the stay, we refunded our guests. Here we did not receive the slightest attention or apology for a holiday that we expressly defined as decidedly unpleasant at check-out. They told us that a manager would contact us but after a week no one showed up. It's a pity because the structure is suggestive and has a spectacular view, but it is poorly managed, and the quality-price ratio for a 4* is unjustifiable.

Lieu exceptionnel

This is an amazing historical property with wonderful views from the top of the mountain across the valley below. Arrival at night was tricky, so only complaint was underlit driveway and parking with no clear signage to the registration desk. I parked and wondered around the property until I asked the first staff I saw to direct me to the registration desk. The rooms are all unique and provide a stay like no other. The breakfast was a bit pricey for the items offered, but it was cute. Staff were all great and very attentive. Did not have an opportunity to attend the spa, but it looked inviting.

Malgré que l’établissement soit un peu vieillissant (douche un peu dangereuse et dur à utiliser, wc rempli de calcaire, chauffage très ancien, isolation phonique et thermique quasi inexistante) il possède un charme fou qui rend votre séjour très sympa. Si les gens de l’hôtel sont tous adorable c’est par contre dommage que le restaurant ne soit pas au niveau. Dans un restaurant qui se veux gastronomique c’est toujours e-agréable d’être entendu comme client. Ici, après avoir signaler une intolérance le chef n’a visiblement rien voulu savoir tout au long du repas. Au point de ne pas avoir pu manger de dessert, tant pis pour moi, tant pis pour eux.

We spent a few days here between road trip spots. The hotel is very traditional and really beautiful, and has a great view over the countryside. Our rooms were different but both great, and we really enjoyed exploring the nearby towns - we visited Gordes and Lourmarin on two evenings and both were beautiful and under an hours' drive. Overall we had a great time, but we were a little let down by the food. The breakfast buffet didn't seem to be replenished over the course of the morning, so arriving at 9am usually meant the cooked food was already gone. We had one dinner in the hotel which was good, but we found too expensive for the quality we received.

We stayed 3 nights. St. Blaise had a no air-conditioning for the 90-degree weather and no air flow for the extremely humid bathroom. We were also awoken at 3am but drunk brits running naked through the halls screming. Subsequently we inquired about switching rooms (and were initially told the hotel was full), but were subsequently switched to St. Frederick which had two functioning A/C's and multiple windows for a cross breeze. Would definitely return but would call the hotel to confirm the room.

Beautiful experience! Property is so unique and picturesque. We had balcony with chairs to enjoy sunset . Pool was nice . Great breakfast and views are amazing. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend!

Excellent séjour. Lieu incroyable et équipe au top, extrêmement sympathique et accueillante. Un moment extraordinaire. Seul tout petit sujet : le wifi un peu cata d’autant plus que parfois 4G pas extra. Un détail.
