This place will forever stay in my heart and memory. We wanted to go back to it each day and admire the beautiful view and property. The staff is amazing, the food is great, our suite had a great view, was large and comfortable. Want to go again and again!

Beautiful location and friendly staff for a relaxing stay

Cette ancienne Abbaye a été rénovée avec goût, originalité, tout en gardant le charme de l'ancien. Le cadre est somptueux, la grande piscine apporte un vrai plus, la vie imprenable est magnifique. Quelques axes d'amélioration, la climatisation est un peu ancienne et ne fonctionne pas à 100%, même si c'était suffisant lors de notre séjour. Concernant la restauration, la qualité est bonne mais le service du restaurant est désorganisé, ce qui génère des attentes longues et frustrantes. En résumé, l'hôtel est magnifique, l'emplacement également, et en améliorant la partie restaurant, cela serait parfait

We had a lovely stay altogether. The only mishap we had was on our first night at the restaurant. The restaurant service was a disaster. We waited one and a half hours for our main plate apart from other issues. Although we complained there was no real feedback from their end which is a pity as the place is so beautiful.

This is a beautiful hotel with history and character having been an old 12 th century monastery.Everywhere you went there was a glimpse of the medieval history. The room was charming and the well equipped- the private patio was wonderful! I dined 3 times in the restaurant the food was exquisite. Most of the staff were very helpful and when asked went out of their way to help or fix problems- especially Jeremie. I would like to return with my husband for a romantic stay. We will enjoy the spa there and a cocktail looking over the view😊 Just a couple of issues that could be addressed : it did get tiring explaining that I was a single person ( although married) traveling by herself. They never seemed to feel comfortable with my status until the end, especially at the restaurant. Also I am in my 60s and good health but the 36 narrow steps to get to my room were challenging - I could not bring up my large suitcase. Also There was also no landing at the top to safely stand when you wrestled with the old fashioned lock and several times I could have lost my balance and fallen back down stairs. Similarly the pool had steps up to pool and none to get in or out of pool. so people should check with hotel if they have mobility issues.

Les menuiseries à l’intérieur du restaurant sont à revoir il y avait un gros trou dans un des verres ce qui nous donner un courant d’air froid dans le cou. Nous nous sommes senti un peu bousculé lors du repas pour être plus précis le dîner ou le personnel était très oppressant.
