Hôtel du Parc

Hotel du Parc proved to be a perfect 2 night stop over during our trip to France. We couldn't find fault with any aspect of our stay. The staff were particularly helpful, rooms were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was modern with a powerful shower. We were able to lave our bikes in a lock up garage at the rear of the hotel which was a real bonus. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Logis de France with a good restaurant not far from Saumur. Private free parking and very good internet connection. The room was on the small side but clean and very comfortable. An excellent place to stop over on our way to Saintes.

We stayed at the hotel for the second time. It is really comfortable. The staff are helpful. We always eat in the restaurant. Their food is fabulous and cooked by a chef, not ding food. They have a good wine selection and do not rip you off with the prices. I would recommend paying the extra 5 euros and staying in the better, larger rooms on the ground floor.

Very clean and comfortable, ideal for an overnight stay. Restaurant was satisfactory, and breakfast the following morning very good. Hotel has secure parking. Good reception area and bar.

Great stop over on our way up France the room was spacious anc clean, the boys were amazed to have English TV, the food in the restaurant was excellent if a little slow. and it wsjust off the moterway with no traffic noise. Car park was secure which was ideal for the bikes on the car.

Hotel was excellent. When visiting castle there is free parking along the river

We were a couple staying for a 3 night long weekend and found this hotel to be all that we expected based on the reviews we had read. Excellent condition, staff and service. Thanks for a great experience.

Very large room with huge bath. Only con was no coffee maker in room. Otherwise great.

A very friendly welcome and we were well looked after. Excellent menu for both the evening meal and great variety for breakfast.Some super local wines are on offer A little disappointed that the hotel is not within easy walking distance of Saumur and is near a commercial out of town site. The room did have a faint smell of tobacco but we can't decide if this was the wood stain on the stairs up to the mezzanine floor or not as there is a smoke alarm. All in all we were well satisfied with our stay and would return there.

After leaving a 4* Novotel which cost loads of money and the whole stay was a poor affair, this stay was perfect. Unpretentious but the service was wonderful. The restaurant dinner was one of the best weve had. All in all this was excellent value. Free parking to boot!!
