Good location, friendly staff, minutes from Clichy Levallois station which takes you St Lazare in 5 minutes
The overall experience was OK for the hotel itself, rooms are nice and cleaned but the staff was terrible (especially the elderly gentlemen). Neither of the staff speak English. We have booked this hotel through my company site which was paid for beforehand, however we were required to pay again in cash upon leaving. I have tried to explain the situation to the gentlemen but he refused to listen to me, all he said was 'You must pay in cash' and he pushed us to pay without looking at the proof of previous payment, he said he didn't understand as it was in English. We were in rush, so we had no time to argue and had to pay in the end. Very very poor customer service!!!
The bathroom have no door
I liked this hotel very much and the price was a bargain. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was not provided but only cost 8€. The neighbourhood is nice and not too far from the metro (15 minute walk). There are many restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel so you'll be certain to find something you like.
Great hotel for short stays !
Very welcoming and friendly. They spoke English and we're very helpful in telling you how to get around. Their WiFi was excellent. Close to train station and Paris city center. Would stay here again.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were good size. No problems.
We only used hotel as a base as we went out first thing to the acrobatic gymnastics world championships at the Marcel-Cerdan arena which ended late every day
My impressions from reading the reviews about hotels in Paris was that I shouldn't expect much. I was pleasantly suprised to find clean, comfortable accommodations for a good price at Hotel Briand. The staff was friendly and helpful, far beyond expectations. My bed was cozy and the bathroom was very nice and included a bathtub which was exactly what I needed after walking and biking around Paris all day.
Ok value and close to train and metro so easy to get around but our room smelled bad and service was mixed. Pretty quiet which was good. Fine for the price.
