Sorell Boutique-Hotel Speer Rapperswil

The staff were really pleasant and helpful, rooms clean and warm. Breakfast was adequate - nice but nothing special (though they have good bread and homemade jam). Beds were fairly comfortable if, perhaps, a little hard - but that’s a personal choice. The only thing that bothered us was that the rooms were really warm so, after turning down the heating, we still needed to open the window to sleep. Rapperswil on a Friday and Saturday is noisy throughout the night till about 3am. We weren’t expecting that at all and it kept my daughter awake. This is not the fault of the hotel, of course, but somehow the rooms need to be able to be cooled so the windows don’t have to be opened - and guests informed how to do this.

Stumbled upon this hotel unexpectedly and booked online to get a better rate. Staff at check in was customer focused and attentive. Free wifi and very nice full breakfast. walking distance to bars/restaurants and the lake.

Great little hotel,nice bar, friendly staff, good location very comfortable and spacious rooms. Parking is down the street so you need to drop your bags off first

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was lovely. Great location for the train. Only issue was the shower with little pressure and inconsistent temperature.

Lovely town, lots of restaurants, Excellent outdoor running paths along Zurich lake, right across the street from train station.

Hotel Steer adjacent old town across road from rail station. Friendly staff had excellent meal in restsurant. Free Cycles available and lots of area to use. Town had great atmosphere and not too crowded

excellent location, staff are all nice and helpful, was a bit noisy at night if facing with the main road.
