Eiger Guest House - Grindelwald

Location is good.

Kitchen cupboards dusty. No microwave or dishwasher. Advertised as a serviced apartment yet upon arrival we are “incentivised” to clean the dishes and leave the apartment tidy otherwise we’ll incur an additional CHF 150 cleaning fee. There were issues with our booking as well - wrong number of people on booking, even though it was confirmed with a message, and staff could have asked if we needed a bunkbed - they expect us to indicate what we need.

location is in the middle between train station and First Gondola. Pick up/drop off service on check in/out, staff are friendly, apartment is clean

The property was central, right in the heart of Grindelwald. The room was big and had a verandah with a beautiful view. Very clean. Coffee making facilities and an oven. The motel has a washing machine and dryer. Coffee and cake included in price every afternoon 3 -5pm was was excellent. It was quiet. The gym was large.

By far the best hotel - just exceptional in ever way, the breakfast and staff are outstanding!

Excellent for a group. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was central and easy to navigate using public transport.
