The property is nicely located with partial Mountain views and walking distance to train station.

The hotel is an old chalet, with a building behind. We were given a room in the building behind. Facilities could do with an upgrade, this could be done with being sensitive to the authenticity of the building, such as changing out the shower curtain for a screen instead, the bathroom overall is dated but clean. The building is very noisy due to wooden floors etc so you can hear everything. The breakfast was very limited, on our first morning we went down to breakfast, the food had not been replenished so there was very little on offer and what was there was of poor quality, surprising as they have a professional kitchen, I wondered what they cooked in there as the only thing cooked for the breakfast was some questionable looking scrambled eggs. The tables also hadn’t been cleaned and we had to clean/clear a table ourselves to sit at for breakfast. The staff were not welcoming at all and when we arrived, we were told that we couldn’t check in until 3pm (which is fine), we were told that we could store our bags in the room around the corner, we were not shown where the room was nor did it have a lock on the door. The room was filled, not only with luggage but with furniture and an ironing board. The staff generally seemed rather standoffish. The bar area, although had a bar and seating, didn’t seem to be open the whole time we were there. For £500 for 2 nights we were expecting a decent stay, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast, looking at the photos advertised it looked lovely however it felt more like a hostel unfortunately.

Some other guests were very rude, pushing you, running in front of you…. But the hotel is not responsible for guest that are rude

Propreté, simplicité luxueuse et chambre en bois, fenêtre qvec rideaux rouges et ambiance chalet. Petit déjeuner correct.

Loin du centre ville, petit espace salle de bain mais option baignoire disponible!
