Hotel Bellevue - Traditional Swiss Hideaway

Love this hotel - well priced and an excellent restaurant

Our stay at Bellevue was wonderful! The surprising bonus was the dinners- they were amazing! Fabulous chef!

This is an older property hotel and the comfort has not been upgraded for some time. The bedding and pillows are terrible and need to be improved. The staff is very attentive and the restaurant is good. The views of the area from the hotel property is excellent. We cannot recommend this property.

Literally the best, most spectacular views of any hotel I have ever stayed at. Location is a bit tricky, as you have to take a train up from Lauterbrunnen then walk about 6-7 minutes up and down hill to get there,. But it is entirely worth it once Interlacken and other points by train. Also, this hotel has a wonderful breakfast, with a wide selection of meats, fruits, cheese, breads and cereals. You can tell the staff is extremely meticulous about the set up. Finally, from what we saw, this hotel is owned and run by the hardest working hotelier in Europe. She was everywhere, and did everything. You could sense a real commitment to accomodating the guests and making them happy.

This hotel is the most amazing place to stay if you want to feel like you are truly in Switzerland. I loved everything about it. I would highly recommend staying in Wengen and then planning your day trips around this location. The only reason I gave the comfort a 4 was because the beds and pillows could be more comfortable. I would also recommend to bring your shampoo and soap for the shower.

The view to the Lauterbrunnen valley and mountains was priceless, the attention of the staff specially Judy and Denise was the best .

Nice small hotel, great location for skiing. Not cheap but what is Switzerland is? Will likely revisit it again in couple of years!
