Geniales Frühstück, netter Service, neben Bahnhof

I stayed during a trip around Switzerland by rail and this hotel was my base for a couple of day trips, starting from Brig station which is right across the street. On one trip I went to Zermatt for a trip up a mountain to view the Matterhorn and on another I went into northern Italy and made a circular trip back to Brig.

Below average for sure. College dorm would be a good comparison in my opinion. You get your room with a bed and a bathroom. That’s all. Is it clean? I can’t say no. There was a pubic hair in the sink when I checked in.

Wir hatten ein Doppelbett und sehr schlecht geschlafen. Das Bett war viel zu weich und hat sich in der Mitte gesenkt. Bahnhofseite war sehr laut, auch am Sonntagmorgen. Hingegen das Frühstücksbuffet war super! Hat vieles gut gemacht. :)

The front desk staff was extemely helpful and knowledgeable of area amenities and how to get places. Although across from the train station we really didn't hear much noose, but we had a room in the back. The location was very convenient for shopping and dining. There are only 10 parking spaces but we never saw more than 4 in use. Drawback is the tiny elevator and no a/c but the windows open and the bed was comfy.

Staff at the front desk was very helpful as far as recommending places to visit.

Needed a hotel at the last minute got last room simple functional but very swiss everything you’d expect but only hope for Outside Switzerland

Situated almost directly opposite the station with excellent train connections. was checked in by a niuce lady at reception and given apple plus bottle of water . This is a budget hotel and showing a few signs of needing updating. Small lift up to the floor. My room was fairly small, single ned and chair/desk with small bathroom. Everything was clean. Supply of towels. Only soap was the gel in the dispenser in the shower. Room was street facing, having asked for a front facing one, this may be because the ones at the back are more expensive. By being at the front you do hear noidse from the trains and vehicls outside. Room WiFi was OK. I had an early start so didn't take breakfast (from 07:00) so can't reveiw that.

Hotel is just opposite to the train station. Room is typical swiss with small bathroom. Breakfast is continental with no hot food, except boiled egg. Lady front staff is really welcome our group. Lobby is quite small as well as elevator which could fit only 2 persons with luggage.

The ladies were brilliant! Well located and considering the proximity to the station very quiet.
