Another amazing stay at this gorgeous family owned hotel. Starting with a warm welcome at the reception, beautiful garden with blooming roses and lavender and rosemary. And of course - a swimming pool. And such an excellent breakfast- with Villeroy & Boch table settings. There’s a family and hotel history in every detail. And location - more than excellent! Beautiful property with in a great location i! The Staff was very accommodating and helpful through out our stay. The room was very comfortable with a good bed and beautiful bathroom.

Always stay at this hotel whenever I visit Lugano - excellent service overall! Cozy family run hotel and I love it! Highly recommended. Note they are closed from end Oct and reopen just before Easter every year.

We had a fabulous room “La Belle Epoque” with a very comfortable bed. Good shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was delicious. There’s also two nice lounges and a garden to relax in. The staff were very helpful. I would stay here again in an instance.

The floor in our room was very creaky and noisey which made sneaking to the toilet in the night impossible.

staff was excellent. helpful and personable. Location right on the lake by the center of town. Never needed a cab until we went back to train station, and that was only because we had luggage and the station is up a steep hill.

The AC doesn't work if the outside temp is below 23.C However, the room was 25.7. (78.°Fahrenheit ) when we opened the window to cool off the room, it was noisy and the lights from the building next door lit up our room. When we closed the black out curtains to block the light then the air did not come in and the room got warm again.
