Upon arrival the staff where very attentive and accommodating. The views from this hotel are absolutley breathtaking. The room is simple but very well maintained and clean. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Maria who was lovely and very accommodating. The location of this hotel is perfect. Close enough to the town center and beach but far enough up to take advantage of the amazing views. We were lucky enough to stay in room 60 which is on the 3rd floor and and can't even begin to explain the views. My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Positano and we could not have picked a better location or hotel. Thank you to Maria and her family for being so great and helping us celebrate this milestone.

Friends recommended this hotel to us and we were not disappointed. Clean, comfortable, great hosts, a view that doesn't even look or seem real, and a fair rate in pricey Positano. We loved it so much we extended our stay two days, and would gladly return. Now, we will pass along the recommendation to our friends -- and to you.

This hotel is ideally located. 10 minutes walk from the beach/dock which is much easier going down than up with luggage, Bus stop is less than five minutes away. The view from the room and patio are wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful arranging free shuttles for dinner. Rooms are good and so is breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Arguably has the best view of any hotel in Positano at great value yet is only 10 metres from the much higher priced Le Sirenuse. Staff were friendly and very helpful with our bags and parking our car (parking was free).

Just returned from a 5 night stay at the Hotel California. We are a family of 4 & after some confusion about the booking we were settled into a 3rd floor room with a balcony. The room was comfortable& had amazing views of Positano. The staff of the family run hotel was helpful, professional, & friendly. All of the recommendations for dinner around Positano were good. The hotel is conveniently located on a main street in Positano. Just about a 10 minute walk down to the beach & not located high up on the cliffs in Positano.
