This was our second visit to wonderful Positano and our favorite hotel, Hotel California. Our room was absolutely perfect with an amazing view of the beach and water. The service is first class and John and the family do a superb job in making your visit with them such a memorable one! This is and will be our hotel choice anytime we come to Positano! Very clean, very nice and views that can't be topped. Thank you for a beautiful time at your hotel.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night - it was in a great location, the staff was extremely friendly. We could not have asked for better considering the price. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel.

We travelled by local bus from Amalfi to Positano which was only €2 each, we were quoted €70 by taxi. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk from the bus stop which was great. On arrival at the California hotel we were offered a complimentary drink by Carmella one of the owners, she was so friendly. The hotel is family run and only has 15 bedrooms. We were upgraded to our surprise to a another room it was amazing with views across Positano bay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location to the beach, shops, restaurants and the port. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location , staff, and facilities offered by Hotel California were first class. We would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Positano.

The hotel exceeded our expectations where the staff were very friendly/helpfull, the room was spacious with stunnng views and you can't beat the location. We would definitly visit again.

The location is amazing, just a short walk to the centre and the beach. The highlight of this hotel is the staff - most helpful people I have come across on my travels so far! The hotel is clean and has a great ambiance and the breakfast was great with amazing views. Would highly recommend!

This hotel was in a great location in Positano. We had a beautiful view from our room with balcony and it seemed that most (if not all) rooms had a great view. A number of restaurants and beach were within a short walk. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were helpful and friendly particularly Barbara. The area was so close to the wonderful historic area of Napoli. The bar hosted by Salvatoria was a treat- welcome drinks, olives, nuts, feta, and salmon and cheese on a crunchy base. The room was large with a balcony and huge bathroom. Highly recommended.
