Wonderful location about 5-10 minute walk to the beach. About a block away from the main downtown section. View from the hotel was absolutely spectacular. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay here next time!

Convenient location close to center and beaches as well as local buses and buses to Amalfi. Parking available for 20 euro a day in hotel garage under hotel. Meals at hotel restaurant are excellent. Hotel staff very welcoming.

The hotel staff greeted us very kindly and were very helpful with getting us checked in. The room was very spacious and had a great view overlooking the town and sea. Our overal experience with Hotel California was great and would stay here again.

"Perfect location for a Positano pause"

Many people only come to Positano for the day, but we really enjoyed staying and waking up to the breathtaking views. The room was perfect and the location great. Breakfast was delicious and perfect to have on the terrace woth the stunning views. Would definitely stay again!

"Amazing stay in Positano"

My wife & I booked a wedding anniversary trip to Italy and staying in Positano at the Hotel California was easily one of the highlights. It was our first time to Positano, and the location was absolutely perfect. And the level of service, particularly from Gian top notch. Our suite was spacious and clean, but the highlight was easily the views from our balconies overlooking the town and water.

Very nice hotel in a good location a short hike up the hill from the center of town. The room was huge, with a balcony in front with views of the sea, the beach, and town. What would make the room more comfortable would be a sofa or two arm chairs, to make use of the enormous space. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was plentiful.

Staff was helpful as we arrived in the poring rain a 11:00 am and we were able to park at the hotel for a reasonable rate. We were able to checkin right away. Location was close enough to centre of town.
