The whole experience was lovely from check-in to dinner to breakfast. Loved the pool. Was a peaceful treat and a very happy and relaxing time.

"Air con not working properly"

The villa is very beautiful, it had lovely gardens, a great swimming pool and the staff were very friendly.

Sadly our air conditioner did not work properly so it was quite hot both nights. We mentioned the problem on the first night and we’re given a fan but it was still quite warm as we were in the top floor and we had to sleep without bedsheets due to the warmth. Unfortunately this meant we ended up with a lot of mosquito bites, even with deet on. We were hoping for a relaxing 2 final nights sleep but got the opposite and spoilt what would otherwise have been a pleasant stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need aircon that works well. Sadly our room didn’t look as nice as the ones on the website.

The service and customer care was excellent. The standard of the food, pool and rooms were very, very good. The location is perfect for visiting Cinque Terre and also Pisa, Lucca and other Tuscan towns. The proximity of the hotel to the beach is an added bonus.

"Never experienced such a bad welcome"

4 days before arriving at this hotel my husband suffered a heart attack and had to undergo surgery the same day. I phoned the hotel to cancel but they didn’t accept my call; I had to write an email! So I did on this stressful day. The hotel replied that they were FORCED to let me pay. How cruel can you be! This is not a chain hotel and nobody is ever forced to take money 4 days before the arrival date. Another hotel we had booked in Tuscany understood the situation and cancelled 2 nights for free. Just to let you know about Hotel Villa Maremonti.

"Wonderful find."

A wonderful find. Smallish family run hotel with really friendly but professional multilingual staff. Top class restaurant with menu changed regularly. Beautiful gardens, grounds and heated pool. Plus easy walk to the beach if wanted (we didnt - the pool was so nice) PLUS really welcoming to our dog. We hope to visit again and will recommend yo family & friends
