Once you park and check in, it is a short walk to the center of Siena. The GPS did not immediately recognize the name of this hotel until we were very close to it. But once there, everything is good from parking to food to view to wine.
Beautiful landscaped grounds and view of the old town of Siena. We were there in November and the pool was closed but this would be a great amenity in the summer. Pool & breakfast room with a fantastic view. Access to the old city is only 250 m away. The owner, Umberto is a charmer and has paid attention to detail with the meticulous upkeep of the hotel and landscaping of the grounds.
Ideal location for those who have a car and want to stay near the old city. Family owned and run- excellent recommendations for local "non-touristy" places to eat. Highly recommend. Only downfall is the walls are a bit thin between rooms, but pool is beautiful and location is great.
location for exploring inside the wall of Siena. This hotel allowed free parking while only a short walk to enter the gate for seeing all of the sights. Good pool....excellent staff that was always helpful.
Enjoyed the view from room. It was wonderful.
