Nel cuore della città, si respira arte e storia dalle piccole finestre di un antico e severo palazzo da cui si affaccia una residenza che semplice ed essenziale nell'arredo e nel servizio non conserva quel fascino ma è ben tenuta e accogliente

Except for 53 steps to our room every thing was very nice and comfortable Owner was terrific--very good B&B breakfast

Nice room. B&B is located in z'n anctien building on the 2nd floor. Nogmaals elevator but stairs with you can walk on good.

Casa pulita e gestore simpatico e cortese. Non è presente il bidet nel bagno esterno. Per il resto la zona è ottima e centralissima. Consiglio.

To netter på enkelt 4-roms hotell beliggende i fjerde etasje midt i smørøyet i gamlebyen i Lucca. Parkere må du gjøre utenfor bymurene, og rusle noen hundre meter til hotellet med bagasjen. Skikkelig trim opp trappene kommer i tillegg.Vårt rom (2) hadde god dobbeltseng og eget bad, og vi hadde et hyggelig opphold med råd og vink fra eieren Guiseppe.

RESERVATION payée avec petit déjeuner. Le gérant L a refusé, prétextant n avoir eu que la réservation pour une chambre seule. Désagréable

With this B&B you are based in the middle of the old town on the busy Via Fulungo which is the main shopping street with good restaurants on your doorstep. The rooms are on the side of the building away from the street so arent too noisy. Rooms are well appointed with new bedding, but are a little tight for space if you have more than a couple of bags. We were welcomed by the kind and helpful owner Giuseppe, who gave us fantastic tips on what to do in Lucca.

Alba B&b was great. The location was ideal- right in the center yet there was no street noise at night. It is a modest establishment and not actually aa b&b as breakfast is optional and extra but that is not a problem as there are cafes all around. The host is very helpful with information. You can hear your neighbors coming in ast night, but fortunately they were quiet. It is up 4 flights of stairs, but as I was traveling light it was not a problem. I would definitely stay here again.
