Il Vicario

The B&B is very charming, wonderfully decorated and Katia is so welcoming. We took a cooking class from Fulvio that was so much fun! We learned a lot and were surprised that we could master some Tuscan recipes. Fulvio made us laugh and feel like family as we were cooking in his kitchen. I highly recommend both the cooking class and the B&B. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I had a marvelous time at Il Vicario! Fulvio and Katia are great hosts. We loved our room that had a poster bed and we had the best sleep of our trip because it was so dark and quiet at night. The cooking class we received from them was interesting, fun, interactive and delicious =) Il Vicario is located in the heart of Tuscany, amongst the rolling hills of olive plantations and wine vineyards. The views are absolutely stunning.

Our stay at Il Vicario was wonderful! Fulvio was an amazing host, and was available to help with any and all requests, recommendations, and information at all times. The rooms were rustic and perfect for our needs. The location was a quick ride from the Sam Gimignano City Center and a great central location for additional travels throughout Tuscany. We took a cooking class with Katia one night as well which we would highly recommend - her instruction was great and the food was amazing! Overall, a great find for our trip.

The hospitality of the staff is unparalleled. If you can't relax in this setting and service you can't read anywhere

A pleasant stay in a nice part of Italy although quite difficult to find. Well looked after by the owners.

Initially got lost as it is a little out of the main town but it was well worth it. Drinks on arrival- beautiful traditional rustic small hotel. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating - lovely 3 course meal plus drinks . Swimming pool loungers outstanding scenery and views.

We received a warm welcome. Very comfortable room beautiful location. Very close to San Gimignano which is a must everytine we come to Tuscany, the kids love the ice cream. We were recommended an excellent restaurant for the evening which we all enjoyed. In the morning there was a breakfast feast awaiting us. Excellent value and I will return soon Thank you ever so much.

This isn't luxury accommodation but it is adequate. What stands out are the hosts Fluvio and Katia who are both fantastic and they also do a great cooking course which is worth booking too. Also beautiful countryside.

We arrived in pouring rain and Flavio welcomed us in with a glass of local wine. It was very cosy and homely. Flavio cooked up a storm and managed to feed 10 people despite the fact that we arrived not long beforehand! We shared along with the other guests a great (reasonably priced too) 4 course meal with accompanying wines in a very friendly atmosphere, enjoying the new company. Our room was quite spacious and pleasant, the shower a little too small but the same as elsewhere in Italy :) Breakfast was much better than the average Italian one. We really enjoyed our stay.
