Gasthof Koreth

The great location, parking facilities, clean room. The staff members were welcoming, kind and charming. The breakfast was comprehensive and the coffee-making facilities were great.

Our room was clean but the decor was probably from the mid last century. The furniture was extremely dated and shabby. There was only one available socket in the whole room (and one in the bathroom). Saying that, I peeked into the open rooms on the first floor and they were completely updated and a massive improvement on ours. Smoking is still allowed in the property (I think) and the stench of cigarette smoke permeates everywhere. This needs addressing urgently. The outside junction is an active building site with heavy machinery making noise from 7am-18pm. Whilst this issue is outside of any control by the Hotel, this issue ought to be mentioned from the outset. For those who would wish to stay in their room during the daytime, the noise would be prohibitive. The amazing hospitality was let down by a very dated and poorly functional infrastructure.

It was everything I had hoped it would be as I was looking for an authentic Austrian hotel and not some big, corporate hotel chain.

Lovely staff, good breakfast, space in the rooms, good location, great restaurant.
