My grand parents came here with siblings and great grand mother the first time in February of 1938. We have photos to prove it. It was a very cool experience to stay at the same hotel. I will always stay at Schwarzer Adler. I had a beautiful room with a great view. Sauna & SPA is top-notch too.

"A beautiful hotel, in a stunning location."

The location and the building.

Everything was superb, but the bedroom was a bit of a disappointment. The room required an upgrade, and the wardrobe moved when walking within the room. Not a complaint, but simply an observation.

"A lovely hotel blighted by the 3am curfew on the nightclub just 30 metres from the front door."

Great rooms, lovely helpful staff, great spa facilities

Noisy nightclub over the road. Don't expect sleep. Overheated rooms. can't open the window because of the nightclub.
