"Great hotel for skiing holiday with family and relaxation"

The hotel was perfect. Very well run family hotel. All staff were warm, friendly and attentive. Everything was kept exceptionally clean. This includes all the public areas such as the toilets, the sauna and the spa area. It runs a complimentary shuttle service that takes guests to the lifts and back (only 5 min ride away but a lot easier by car). There was a good selection of food. Breakfast offer was excellent. The room was spacious with good storage space, a balcony and a bath. There was an evening entertainment on one of the nights with a local musician - Peter W., which was excellent. He got everyone dancing. There is a kids club for non-skiers but we didn't use it as our daughter went to a ski school. We had a fabulous holiday. Thank you!

Everything was great. I guess the one observation from ski holidays in Austria is that it is not very vegetarian/vegan friendly. This is not exclusive to the hotel. All the places we stopped for lunch on the slopes were lovely, but served traditional Austrian food, which is very meat (mostly pork) centred. If one was following a vegan or vegetarian diet, it would be quite challenging as there aren't that many good quality options on the menu.

"A fabulous holiday"

A beautiful family run hotel. Very cosy, full of personal touches. Staff were amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful with a good variety. The spa area is excellent. The all inclusive is great value, and the clientele reflect the values of the hotel. We met some really lovely people there.

I really liked the atmosphere and the staff of the Hotel Die Sonne. Greetings to Anastasia, Danijel, Biljana :) The room was quite big and very clean. Only the pillows were not comfortable at all, like in every hotel 😃 The food was tasty, but breakfast can be tastier! Overall our stay was great and we will come back for sure!

"A bit on the pricy side but worth it"

They have THE nicest staff, service, reception, housekeeping, polite, friendly, responsive. Austrian friendliness at its finest even in the last week of the season!! Nice saunas, quiet area, and also nicely equipped gym. The room was quiet and huge. Everything was superb!

They could have had a midnight snack for people who missed the whole day of food and a five course dinner ... just kidding! Shout-out to the barkeeper who safed us with NicNacs ;-)
