Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See 4 Stern Superior

Alles prima. Top Hotel! Nur die Lichtschalter wirken abgewohnt. Wir mussten sie wieder befestigen.

Simply lovely. Me and my wife speend a couple of days at the hotel and was incredible. Friendly staff, amazing food, incredible view. So good to relax, go to the sauna and spend quality time with my wife!

Die Lage am See war traumhaft. Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr schöner Wellnessbereich.

Kein kostenloser hoteleigener Parkplatz vorhanden. Im Ort selbst ist nichts los, mussten abends weg fahren.

Hier gibt es nicht viel zu sagen außer: einfach perfekt!!!

We’ve spent quite some time exploring the Austrian lakes, but Das Traunsee clearly exceeded our expectations. From the very first contact, everything was handled with great care and precision. Our room (#205) was spacious, with gorgeous views, and the hotel offered plenty of outdoor areas with sun chairs to relax. Breakfast / Dinner on the terrace was a highlight – excellent options combined with a spectacular scenic view. Dinner, even outside of their star restaurant, was a true culinary delight. The wellness area is another gem: several saunas and steam rooms, generous resting areas, and everything designed for relaxation, allowing for a refreshing dip into the lake. Overall, we were very happy with the warm and attentive service throughout our stay – it made all the difference. We will definitely return. Thank you

Modern hotel with most if not all rooms facing the Traunsee lake. Modern room decor with all expected conveniences. Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient parking right outside the front door for a fee. Otherwise, free parking a short walk away. Great breakfast buffet, with an incredible selection of cheeses. Good communication lines between hotel and guest ahead of check-in date.

While a gourmet, set-menu evening dinner is a nice, albeit expensive experience, I would prefer, as a foreign tourist, an option to order some “normal”, local dishes from a traditional menu. Except for the toilet, remainder of bathroom including the tub is essentially in the room with no separation in between. This may look trendy, but creates an obvious inconvenience in terms of privacy, lighting and noise.

There really is nothing to fault, the hotel is amazing
