Chambre studio avec juste ce qu'il faut. C'est pas du moderne mais propre et fonctionnel. Literie correcte. Bien insonorisé avec les voisins. Patron aux petits soins. Pour un prix imbattable.

August 2018 - 5 nights - I needed a place to stay with my 2 daughters so we rented a standard studio for 3. The room was simple, clean and spacious, the bathroom was very adequate, and the kitchen was very well equipped (2x hobs, fridge microwave, toaster, coffee machine & kettle). The mattresses are firm, we slept really well! The local buses stop outside the hotel door - both for the train station or the city centre, very handy! Finally I don't think that previous reviewers ever stayed in a 2 star hotel for this price before, expecting a 4-star standard seems unreasonable. To answer some of the negative comments here are my comments: 1) this is a small local hotel, and as such the staff do not speak English. This is not unusual or surprising that IN FRANCE, they will only speak French in a small family-run hotel. 2) price - it was made very clear to us at check in that breakfast was not included and that there is a local tax to pay per day. 3) the hotel DOES have a breakfast room. I was so annoyed to read that people expect full English breakfast. While some big hotel have been able to offer this in recent years, it is not custom to serve FEB in France, anywhere else (hence the name "continental" breakfast). 4) smoking - there was a cigarette smell in the corridor one evening. I asked the manager about this, and he explained as per regulations, the hotel is non-smoking throughout. He has slipped notes under doors and reminded customers verbally, but what else can he do? Again it is a small hotel with no impressive security staff, and he cannot turn business away... As an extra note about France, you will see many people enjoying breaking the law (while driving, smoking on train platforms etc), it is a little like a national sport!

l’hotel est propre et l’equipement confortable et agréable. cependant, l’hotel est trés bruyant, le moindre claquement de porte s’étend à l’autre bout du couloir. de plus le manque de volet pose problème au levé du soleil.

Stanza ampia, peccato letto troppo vicino a finestra. Zona cucina comodissima completa di microonde e frigo.

Un vrai saut dans le temps... Chambre médiocre Matelas sans commentaire Salle de bains avec douche au lieu de baignoire comme prévu sur la réservation Paroi de douche hs remplacée par rideau de douche qui se colle a vous pendant votre douche Nous allons faire réclamation... Petit déjeuner impossible si pas commandé la veille. Ampoules grillées

Wonderful accommodations for a family of 5 even made arrangements for our late arrival. Breakfast was perfectly continental with fresh delicious croissants, yogurt, cheese, jams, tea and coffee. Contentious hosts helpful with taxi arrangements and sending us off with a smile. Arrived via Brittany ferries who helped arrange a taxi for 5. Taxis don’t seem to be an issue if traveling in a group of 4 or less.

Le patron de l'établissement a tenté de nous arnaquer. On refusant son chantage, il a refusé de nous prendre malgré la confirmation de notre réservation. On a loué une chambre pour deux personne pour 50 euros, on arrivant il a exigé qu'on paye pour un bébé de 20 mois. On a accepté pour payer une chambre pour trois personne mais le patron a exigé qu'on paye 20 euros de plus pour le bébé sans nous changer de chambre. On a refusé de payer plus si il nous ne change pas chambre mais le patron a refusé et ils nous a même insulté et nous a menacé.

Good private parking around the back of the hotel, just off a main street. Theres not a lot in the local area post 9pm - within reasonable walking distance anyway. The staff are helpful, however my room was cold and looked like a student bedsit. Breakfast was included in the price I paid, but it was fairly basic but welcome. I was on a euro-trip therefore only stopped here for 1 night, arriving late and leaving early so didn't get chance to investigate much about the property or the area.
