ATLAS Posthotel

Just returned and our stay here was wonderful. Granted the elevator was out, however the parking was fine next to the side of the Hotel. We had a superior room which was quirky, but neat and immaculately clean. The front desk was helpful with us and gave us local directions for the restaurant I wanted to try. In addition, additional information on driving times etc. Directly across form the pedestrian area the location could not be more central. For the money I've always found this Hotel to be a good bargain.

Centrally located. Easy to walk to great restaurants. Parking was a bit of a pain. You park in a public lot a short distance away. The hotel is a beautiful old hotel that has been fully updated.

Condition was slightly rundown. Parking situation terrible. Breakfast was so so.

We typically stay here every year for one night before we head to Italy. The location is great since it’s right downtown

Basically the hotel is a little old fashion, with very limited parking. The rooms are clean and the bed comfortable. No Air-Con, and no fridge. Plastic laminated floor, no rugs. Flat screen TV. The bathroom had a hairdryer, but was compact. The shower unit was very small, The buffet breakfast was limited and had the worst fried eggs I have ever seen, hard and all on top of each other. Convenient for the buses and local restaurants. Rooms on the front must hear the traffic on the main road.

Find another location! The location is great however realize there is loud and drunk people throughout the night and early morning! The walls are thin so the people walking above sounds like elephants moving about! WiFi in the apartments is not working. Some positives: clean and great location. Historical and quaint.

Great location next to stops for city and Zugspitz bus. View is awesome. Shower is a bit small but still was very happy with our stay. Also had dinner at the restaurant which was very good.

Excellent location in the center of Garmisch! Stayed in one of the apartments. Comfortable, spacious with views of the mountains! Great breakfast buffet! Good value for the money
