Agroturismo sa Rota den Palerm

Relaxing and quiet place wonderful view on the fields with the mountains of the Serra Tramuntana on the back. Very nice two bedroom apartment, with all the equipment for cooking and washing machine.

This agriturismo was our starting point to explore the island, and to reach the main road it takes about 8 minutes by car.

Die Lage ist mitten im nirgendwo, dafür ist es eigentlich zu teuer, denn man braucht an die Küste zum Strand oder nach Palma ca 45 Minuten. Aber man hat Ruhe, solange nicht im Apartment nebenan ein Kind schreit. Der Pool ist groß, sauber und schön, nur etwas kühl. Das 2 Zimmer Apartment ist genug groß, alles ist in der Küche vorhanden was man braucht (Geschirrspüler, Herd, Kühlschrank und Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine). Das 1.Bad könnte etwas renoviert werden, das 2.Bad war in Ordnung.

Kein persönlicher Kontakt, niemand kommt und sagt willkommen. Man bekommt zwar vom Vermieter eine Videoanweisung per WhatsApp, aber keine Antwort auf meine Frage. Eine zweite WhatsApp von anderen Nummer von einer Argentur gibt Infos über checkin und checkout, Erinnerung an die Tourismus Abgabe. Und das relativ häufig, was nervt. Wenn man ankommt kann man nicht genau sagen, wann man Einchecken wird. Man muss es aber angeben und dadurch fühle ich mich gestresst. Den Müll muss man selbst entsorgen. Persönlicher Kontakt fehlt.

Il était très compliqué de communiquer avec les personnes du lieu. Ils ne répondaient pas a nos messages quand nous rencontrions un souci (travaux qui commencent à 8h à côté de notre studio, gel douche vide dès l’arrivée…) et ils répondaient à nos demandes de manière froide et désagréable.

Appartment was very clean when we arrived. Cosy place with air conditioner in bed room. Terrace with privacy and great equipment. The place is very quiet and you need a car to get here. The check in is a bit confusing as you get contacted multiple times via different channels, e.g. Whatsapp. But once you are there it's great. We enjoyed our stay.

Liked everything from the place. We were on homeymoon and loved the nights spent at Rota.

Nothing really

It was really nice to be staying in a remote spot, surrounded by nature. The view from our terrace was beautiful. There was a lot of space for our little one to play, and he enjoyed it a lot. The pool was a great addition in the end. The mattresses were comfortable and sheets clean. Two bottles of water were provided.

First of all - communication. Poor and cold. No signs of hospitality. We had an issue with the front door not closing properly and tried for a long time to reach someone to talk to. The apartment hasn’t been properly cleaned. There were spider nets in almost every corner and I cleaned them myself when we got in. The property has a lot of charm but everything is quite outdated and not so well taken care of. Windows and shutters didn’t close fully, or were getting stuck. Lots of mosquitoes - there’s a little pond in the garden that doesn’t seem to be cleaned. The mattresses were comfortable but it was twins beds that were not connected and moved easily, creating a gap in the middle. The bed was an old one with a part of a headboard partly detaching and hanging. The wardrobe and sideboard were also very old and had a distinct smell so we were not putting our clothes inside. The kitchen was great to have but it was poorly equipped. It lacked some basic tools and we ended up buying them ourselves as we were limited. E.g. there’s one pan (scratched) and one pot. No oven also. We managed everything and had a nice time in the end but, honestly, we would not go back or recommend the place.
