Agroturismo sa Rota den Palerm

Sa Rota is a lovely Mallorcan agro-finca. We stayed here as a family 2+2 for almost 2 weeks and had a great experience. The room was cozy, clean and equipped as advertised. The nicest part was the large terrace (eating table and sunbeds) with an amazing view of the Serra de Tramuntana. The pool area was superb - never crouded, big pool, surrounded by garden and forest. The location is special, right in the middle of the island, which means you can drive to almost any beach within maximum 25-40 minutes which was important for us, because we wanted to visit a variety of beaches. Nearest town is Sant Joan where you can find a bakery from 1880 and some local bars. Overall Sa Rota is highly recommended for travellers seeking tranquility and Malloracan interior feel.

We had the most gorgeous stay at Sa Rota. It was truly the most beautiful setting, and completely exceeded expectations. The room was gorgeous, very spacious and beautifully designed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the stay truly special. We hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Sa Rota. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the set up for a young family was perfect. Beds were super comfortable, apartments had a great selection of furniture. Lots of privacy and communal space. My daughter was thrilled with the room full of toys, and we loved renting bikes and cycling through the peaceful countryside to Sineu (just ten mins away). A wonderful and very memorable holiday. We arrived at Sa Rota very late and it was all just perfect from beginning to end. The room and space were large with a very good fitted kitchen. The breakfast the first morning was delicious with home made yogurt amongst other things. On the terrace under the trees. No noise at all other than birdsong. It was so peaceful the whole experience with a fantastic pool for swimming good lengths. The staff were so friendly too. It was positioned perfectly to visit other areas and towns each day. Sineu very near was charming with great cafe’s for coffee. Maybe too early fir restaurants to be open as we could not find many around was the only thing. Anyway it was the most perfect place.

Not easy to find and not ideal for getting around locally. But this is a haven, less than 10 dwellings (mostly lateral apartments carved out an L-plan stable block) with a pool with fantastic views and a dining space under the trees for breakfast. Units with terraces have swing seats facing west for the sunsets made spectacular by the mountain range. I think the place only offers breakfast but units are self catering with good kitchens. If you can organise yourself so you don’t need to make regular trips out of the venue for meals etc. the venue will feel like a bargain retreat.
