There's not a lot that you can fault about this hotel! It's a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities, the majority of the staff were amazing. There's one woman who works behind the pool bar and in the pizza place and she was quite rude but other than that I really cannot fault a single thing. The breakfast choice was brilliant, the room was spotless everyday, and the maids are so friendly. Everyone makes an effort to help you with anything you need. We were only a short taxi ride from Funchal and there's so many activities to get involved in and enjoy! Lillian from lokoloko was brilliant, she secretly helped my boyfriend plan a private boat on the sunset for him to propose to me! It's an idealic place and we would definetly go back again!

Great experience from start to finish. Excellent food and bonhomie.

Upon arriving they told us they overbooked but they will take us to the other hotel across the street (which turns out to be down the slope), we can still use all facilities but we really couldn't be bothered to walk so we didn't get to use the fitness center. The other hotel is spacious and closer to the sea which is good. Tv is smaller than my desktop monitor but good for relaxing. In generally we are happy but I am not liking the way they overbook as the original hotel seems the best established and better rooms. It is a big complex like a maze connecting 3-4 hotels, many small pool here and there. Main pool is smaller than pictures and irregular shape. Indoor one in my hotel is either too shallow or too deep for us moderate swimmers. Try Atlantis hotel which is good and avoid the bar above Atlantis for food, the wrap they gave me is disgusting, not properly wrapped (all spread out when you pick it up with long holes on it), sandwich for my partner was a wrongly order and they scrap the wrong ingredients off and put some other ingredients back on. Stick with the standard drinks then you can enjoy the nice view. The neighborhood only got few restaurants but if you are staying for a few days then it's not a problem.

The hotel is very comfotable. Situated very close to the aireport and to Funchal. Has many Facilities. The staff at the reception are very helpful. Excelent breakfast buffet.

Hotel is very clean and is very well organised, with the receptionists being excellent at their jobs, as well as being multilingual. Room was good, and had a lovely small balcony, from which to sit and soak up the sun and watch passing sea traffic. Breakfast buffet excellent range and quality - sets you up nicely for the day. Local bus service is excellent and has a frequent service, but you can walk locally (need to be fit and active due to the slopes!) and there always taxis available if required.

If you are renting a Motorbike , there is a place close by, Garrage aviable for overnight storage, great value for money, i wasnt intending to spend much time in hotel its clean,staff are helpfull friendy, hotel restaurant Atlantis is nice , Happy customer
