NEXT - Savoy Signature

I could not fault our stay! The staff are attentive and friendly, the rooms and views are lovely, and the facilities are superb. We will 100% be visiting again… especially the rooftop bar 😍

Liked location. Would have appreciated a map to designate the walkways up to the shops near the Savoy Palace. Easy walk and lots of options.

Although on the whole the stay was good our Room was really warm on a night it appeared the Climate Control wasn’t working and my friends said the same about their rooms also this needs dealing with and the Complimentary Water in the Room was not replenished during the stay also there were no Tea or Coffee in the rooms just needs a bit more attention to detail and finally although Mosquitos are not the Hotels fault around the restaurant Bar area there were clouds of them and we all got a lot of bites so maybe they could spray something to keep them down around that area I’ve been abroad for many many years on holiday and I’ve never ever been bitten like that

A great stay, thank you. If there was a recommendation it would be to find a way to turn around washing faster, on business 24-48 hours is too long an ask.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great facilities and very helpful staff. Breakfast was superb!

Things to love: wonderful bed, good amount of space, ocean view, and the hotel’s restaurant was really very good. Great food and the staff there were super Things that didn’t hit the mark: very strange space shuttle themed elevators and an unexpected lack of care about the guest experience. No extra mile here. For example, while our room had a coffee machine, the hotel wouldn’t provide fresh pods for it each day. They explained that you have to pay for pods after the first day. I’ve never encountered such a bizarre policy at a hotel. One day, we pressed the point in our nicest Canadian, “sorry, sorry, sorry but the listing expressly says the nespresso machine is included” kind of way. The concierge rolled her eyes at us and said “fine.” Later we found some ancient, crumbly instant Nescafé packets tossed into the room. It was so passive aggressive it was almost funny.

Really stinky around the hotel. Beautiful view. Nice breakfast. Unhelpful and unfriendly staff.

Really modern, good quality hotel. The two pools are amazing, plus the direct access to swim in the ocean. Rooftop bar also a big plus! Rooms are spacious and clean. Food at the hotel was good, but it would have been nice to have some traditional Madeiran dishes on offer as well.
