The first great thing is it has a lift to the top floor where the guesthouse is located. Claudio is a caring host , happy to help with suggestions for restaurant’s & excursions. The rooms are all in Antique style , are spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are spacious . Continental breakfast is included. The location is right in the middle of the centro storico , yet the rooms are peaceful and quiet. Airconditioning worked well.

My daughter and I loved everything. The location, the welcome and hospitality from owner Claudio and staff. It is not 4 star accommodation but that's not what we want. It's full of character and soul complete with a beautiful cat Matisse. Bed was big and comfy and shower fantastic. We hope to return and wish we had stayed there as a base instead of moving on and staying in Florence.

Owner Claudio was great - very hospitable and gave lots of advice. The rooms are full of character with antique furniture. Loved the breakfast around one large table. Met the beautiful cat Great location.

The showers were not perfect but this is an old building and full of character. The stairs to the attic rooms were very steep.

Es un poco retirado de la estación y como no hay transporte público llegar con las maletas en el empedrado es un poco complicado

The room was very charming, with a great view over the terracotta rooftops of Lucca. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the location is truly unbeatable - as central as you can get, yet still less than a 15 minute walk to the train.
