Hotel Cannobio

sooo comfortable and relaxing hotel and town. Very classy, very clean, just beautiful. Great stop on round the lake-tour, even for one night.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Der Check-In war schnell und zuvorkommend, der Parkservice war sehr bequem und pünktlich. Das Zimmer war nicht sehr groß, jedoch gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksangebot war sehr reichhaltig und von sehr guter Qualität.

Where does one start? Everything about our stay at this hotel was first class. Our car was given its own garage box in their section of the underground car park and our dog was treated like royalty. The room was good, the breakfast was excellent and there was the super "café" next door (same management I think) to have a light evening meal. Not cheap but worth every penny. (Actually this was July 2017 but I didn't realise I'd not published my review)

Sehr gepflegtes Haus, nettes aufmerksames Personal und ganz hervorragendes vielseitiges Frühstück. Das Auto wurde - da dauerhaftes parkieren vor dem Haus nicht gestattet ist - durch das Hotel in einer Tiefgarage parkiert und wieder geliefert. Schade, dass es kein Aufenthaltsraum gibt.

Temperatur im Zimmer konnte nicht geregelt werden, es war sehr warm im Zimmer.

die Lage an der Promenade ist perfekt Superior Zimmer ist etwas klein - aber ok Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig und sehr gut Restaurant war mittags und abends geschlossen - schade Parkhaus ist etwas abseits und versteckt Resetiompersonal sehr freundlich hilfsbreit und und aufmerksam

We booked a lake view room, which was worth it and looked out over the piazza and shops below from our corner 3rd floor room. Nice room, fabulous bathroom. Didn't eat breakfast there as /person per day @ E20 but many local cafes nearby. Would stay there again.

This hotel has been here for a very long time and has retained the grandeur of old times still, but with modern amenities. We had a lake view room, which was a corner room at the side of the hotel, providing a view over the piazza and shops along the lakefront. Room had plenty of space for bags etc. Two twin beds pushed together. Very modern and spacious bathroom too. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was an extra E20 each per day, so we opted for local cafes, of which there were many that offered continental breakfasts. Many restaurants nearby, but best to just have a drink at the lakeside ones and eat more economically just behind in the old town. Sunday clothes market was huge! Need to be aware, that only limited ferry service at Cannobio and the rapido service down to Stress is the best to reduce the time from 2 to one hour. Cannobio easiest to access by ferry, but can get buses x 2 from Locarno.

Charming hotel first row to,the shore. We really did enjoy the stay in Cannobio where you find a great balance between relaxation, opportunities and a stunning view.
