Hotel Monte Cristo

I've been coming to Frankfurt annually for 18 years on business and have never stayed this far out before. However, Offenbach is a lovely area, and the hotel is within running distance of a park and the woods. Nice restaurants nearby. The journey to the Messe (Exhibition Centre) is only about 30 mins all-in (including walking time and one change - stay on same platform), which is absolutely fine. Also, cost was amazing compared to far-worse rooms closer-in - and free wifi! Room was excellent and spacious, and the bed was a far cry from the small planks of wood you normally get in the cheaper hotels in the city. The only things I would add are coffee/tea making facilities in the room (missed this most of all), and a desk for working at. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wir benötigten nur eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht und hatte an das Hotel keine großen Ansprüche gestellt. Was für uns eben wichtig war, war das es ein Doppelzimmer mit zusammenstehenden betten hatte und sich Dusche und WC auf dem Zimmer und nicht auf dem Flur befand. Allerdings hatte es im Badezimmer geschimmelt und das ist für uns ein NO GO, deshalb bewerteten wir die Sauberkeit des Zimmers mit ungenügend

二人でダブルルームに宿泊、部屋はとても広く心地よいです。バスタブもあり、清潔です。　ただエレベーターがありません。　ホテルの立地は、メトロ駅からそこまで離れてはいませんが、とても近いとも言いにくいなんとも微妙な立地ですが一本道ですので迷う事もありません。　メインの駅、観光地の駅、空港までもメトロで一本、ドイツ鉄道はとてもべんりですので、観光も問題なくできますし、空港までの移動にも問題ありません。

The room was nice and clean and had the very basics. Noisy on the street, but we could have all four us together. Shower very small. WiFi only good in the lobby, which was only five steps from our room. Friendly staff. Good parking at hotel.

Please give better directions from the station to the hotel:)

Zimmer mit uralter Ausstattung, nicht zum Verweilen angebracht, keine Atmosphäre, Entfernung zur nächsten S-Bahn ist weiter als in Ihrer Beschreibung, mit Gepäck nur mit Taxi, Reception verraucht, nicht dauernd besetzt, Personal (Familie) nicht sehr gastfreundlich, mit 154,00 EURO überbezahlt Zimmer und Bad sauber

Het hotel licht nagenoeg in het centrum. We hadden twee kamers geboekt . Bij een (zolder)kamer was er geen gordijn aanwezig. dit kon ook niet meer geregeld worden. We hadden al betaald maar de (norse) medewerker vond het geen probleem om ons geld terug te geven en dat we dan een ander hotel konden zoeken. Hadden we geen zin in na een dag reizen met 5 kinderen! Uiteindelijk met zijn allen in een kamer geslapen na wat gesleep met matrassen.

No wifi on the upper floors. Im not smoking so I hated the smell of cigarettes in the room-from other people that were smoking in their rooms or on the floors. One girl and a guy in reception are nice, one girl is not polite. Room wasnt cleaned for 2 days of our stay. Room was warm, which is good. Otherwise this wont be my first choice, but its quite cheap!

I am not surprised that previous guests found it cold. Yuo do have to turn on individual room heaters. But they did work. I thought breakfast would be too much food, so I just requested coffee and it was gratis. People were friendly. I walked easily to the S-Bahn station to connect to trains. Grocery store was relatively near and I could keep beers cold in the fridge in the room. :) I would go there again.
