Residence Villaggio Verde

Stayed here for 7 nights. Located around 10-15 minutes from the busy town of Sorrento. Room small but had everything we needed. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast basic, but again had everything you would expect, juices, tea and coffee, pastries and toast served from 08:00-10:00. No rush to get there early as everything will go because there was lots throughout the morning . Pool very relaxed and calming - you have to pay for the beds €5 each which includes towel and deck chairs are free - there was no getting up at silly times to get a bed as you had to pay - although this niggled me at the start I actually quite liked it as there was no people taking beds and not using them or getting up at silly times to reserve . The pool offers light snacks at lunch time which are all very very good. The only niggles I had were there was no phone reception or wifi in the rooms . The thing that absolutely made this place was the owners - everyone so friendly and willing to help. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at this beautiful place. The staff are incredible and made all of our party feel at home especially our 87 year old Mother who was treated with kindness,patience and compassion. They just thought of everything. We were here to celebrate our son and daughter in laws wedding and although we were a large party with children adults and elderly folk they accommodated all our needs perfectly. The pool is managed to a high standard with beautiful views across the mountains and to the sea. The Bungalows are situated in amongst orange and lemon trees and have outside seating areas if you wish to eat or drink there. Comfortable beds and efficient aircon units helped to ensure we were well rested. Breakfast was a varied continental style with lots of lovely fresh local produce. We will definitely return to this magical place and highly recommend it to all!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at your charming oasis! The property is a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of town, yet conveniently within walking distance. Our room was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. We were pleased to find that extra items like a toaster could be easily requested from reception. Travelling with our 6-year-old daughter, we found the walk back to Villagio a bit steep but manageable. While there are no pavements, the cars passed by wide and slow, ensuring our safety. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. A special shout out to our cleaning lady, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for her name, which I regret! One of the highlights for us, especially for my daughter, was the two cats who visited us daily. Their presence made our stay even more magical. We sincerely hope to return in the future and experience your wonderful hospitality once again.

Everything about this place was good except for the internet. To get a stable connection, you had to go outside your room, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the swimming pool hours were quite limited—open only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Since this is a tourist area and most people are out sightseeing during the day, it’s easy to miss the opportunity to use the pool by the time you return to the hotel. One thing to note: hotels in Italy typically do not provide hair conditioner. They usually only offer two small bottles of shampoo and two very small bars of soap, so be sure to bring your own hair products.

The cabin was great & the site felt like a little oasis of calm in busy Sorrento. The pool area was kept clean & tidy by the staff. Everywhere was surrounded by flowers & greenery. They provided gluten free breakfast products. Antoinette, on the front desk, is fabulous & made our stay, helping with bookings, trips, info & a big smile! 🥰

Beds not too comfortable and ok for a couple but tight for more. Unfortunately kitchen very basic no oven or proper cooking pans. Hard work walking up the hill to the villa.

We are a family with an 11 yo and and 8 yo using Sorrento as a base from which to visit Pompeii, Capri etc. Residence Villaggio Verde is a short walk from the town centre, clean, comfortable, with a pool, sun terrace and pool bar/cafe. The setting in a garden with a view of the hills is beautiful. Cabins are small but we weren’t in the cabin except to sleep, and compared to other options in Sorrento, extremely reasonably priced (like, 1/3 the price of two hotel rooms). Each cabin contains a small kitchen area so you can make sandwiches to take on trips. We had such an amazing time here, and for so much less than we had thought we would have to spend!

The walk into town does not have proper pavements for a large portion, but rather a foot-wide pedestrian zone separated by a painted line. It felt very exposed to the road. We got used to it and it was fine with a child of eight, but I wouldn’t have wanted to do it a toddler.

Very informative, gave great advice on tours and organised them all for us. Super friendly and attentive. Great location just 15minute walk from centre. Quiet and serene. Pool facilities are great. All round fantastic experience. Would highly recommend and should I return I would stay here again.

The WIFI was practically nonexistent outside of the main office. This was frustrating because I wasn’t able to FaceTime nor doing anything in which WiFi was needed.
