Abbiamo trovato un posto meraviglioso. Bellissimo e pulito. Ben arredato. E organizzato. Staff eccezionale. Era un peccato che siamo rimasti solo 3 giorni.zona piscina con il bar. Perfetto.

"Brilliant value for money in the Sorrento area. Extremely helpful staff. No frills. "

Information that may be helpful: Room types and food options: There are both bungalows and more 'hotel' rooms. The bungalows are the ones on the photos that have wood paneled walls like a cabin. The hotel does a breakfast service that can be included in your booking, and there is a bar by the pool that serves drinks and snacks all day, and meals at lunch. The hotel does not do evening meals. We stayed as bed & breakfast, and then paid additionally to have some of our lunches at the pool bar. Room: We stayed in a twin hotel room, and it was very clean and functional and very close to the pool area. Our room was equipped with: TV with Sky box, hairdryer, Air Conditioning, Drinks Fridge (not cold enough to keep food in), safe. We found the room to be very clean, but we did have problems getting the shower to work - the handle fell off when we turned it! The beds were comfortable enough, but nothing luxurious. Pool: The pool area was very clean, and had a lovely view. It was often fairly busy with families, but there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The deckchairs are free to use, but the sun loungers and chaise longues are €5/chair/day. The pool is open 10am-6pm every day. Surrounding area: As others said, the walk up the hill from Sorrento town centre was steep, and there are lots of mosquitos in the area! The area felt very safe, and we found it fairly quiet at night (except for some of the other hotel guests coming and going with suitcases etc). Pool bar: I thought the pool bar was great (find the photos of the menu and the pizza attached to this review). Very affordable and the staff were very helpful. The food was very good and perfect for a snack by the pool. (Note: it only serves food from 12pm-2pm, but is open for drinks and snacks 10am-11pm, except Mondays when it closes at 6pm). Breakfast: The breakfast was basic but very functional. Included: bread (toaster available), selection of jams and spreads, selection of cakes and pastries, cold cheeses, deli meats and boiled eggs, fruit, cereals and yoghurt. Good selection of tea, coffee and juices also. Staff: The fact about this hotel that makes it positively stand out and would make me return is the staff. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. For example, on the first day when we arrived, the pool bar had closed for lunch, but on seeing we had just arrived, the man working at the pool bar offered to make us lunch anyway. Additionally, we bought our own soya milk from the local shop and brought it to breakfast, and the lady working in the breakfast room saw this, and went and got us a selection of dairy-free milks we could have. All staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful and I was very grateful to them for making our stay so comfortable. Vegan and vegetarian options: As with most places in Italy, it is easy to get good vegetarian food at this hotel. There are plenty of options for sweet breakfasts, or bread and cheeses, and of pasta and pizza for lunch. For vegans, I would recommend this hotel in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in in Italy. See the above paragraph about staff for how helpful they were with non-dairy milk. There are also bread, jam and fruit options at breakfast, and salad options for lunch at the pool bar (see menu attached). There is a selection of vegan ice creams available at the pool bar, which were delicious! You could definitely follow a vegan diet at this hotel, but you may not have much variation if you stayed for a longer trip! Overall I would highly recommend this hotel as a basic, great value option for exploring Sorrento or a relaxing break.

"Gem of Sorrento"

10.0

Just come back from a 5 night stay and we absolutely loved our stay. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself is good. We loved the fact that it is a smaller site, so it gives such a family feel to the place. Will defiantly book back in when we next come to Sorrento! The food by the pool is also very good, was surprised by the actual quality of it. Pizza's were top.

"Home away from home"

10.0

We had a lovely 10 day stay. Service is excellent and the bungalows are lovely with their green surroundings. Its not new and modern but rustiqe and cozy, it is such a warm atmosphere created by the great kindness of the people who runs it! Nice breakfast and a very lovely pool area with beautiful view of the mountains. Lunch is available at the pool bar ala carte and a special, for very reasonable prices. We brought our children aged 5 and 7 and they were treated as members of the family. The reception offers all sorts of tips and also helps book trips in the area. Its an easy walk to the center of Sorrento in 10-15 minutes. It is like a home away from home!

"Amazing family run village right in the heart of sorrento, we love it"

9.0

The staff were so friendly and looked after us very well, the rooms were very clean and well kept. Pool area and restaurant were always spotless. Nothing was a problem for the staff, I would recommend to everyone. Ideal for families or couples. Very convenient also to the center of Sorrento, no need for taxis

The economy bungalows are close to the road so can get a little noisy in the morning with traffic passing. You can't see the road and its only a small road but it is close, but if you go for one of the other type bungalows, you are well away from that

"A Little Oasis"

8.0

Thank you to Antoinetta, Daniela and the team for a lovely stay. We had a room in a block rather than the bungalows which we really liked, nicely decorated and comfy firms & slept well. Very good air conditioning, effective easy to use and fairly quiet. We had a proper bathroom too! Basic hairdryer so bring your own if you can be bothered fighting holiday hair, no balcony but didn’t have a problem with this. Pool area is lovely, clean with lovely mature trees and plants, happy to pay the €5for a bed & towel for the day on pool days, no rush to reserve one like other places and sounds like this is the norm in this area. Breakfast basic but ok, lovely coffee and pastries, Greek yogurt would be a nice addition. Walk down to Sorrento Tasso Square is a 10-15 minute walk downhill, nice restaurants along the way ( Mama Che is just off a side street on the right on the way down), 15- 20 min walk back up, really NOT that bad, only the last 25 metres are the steepest, had far worse hills on other holidays. Antoinetta will share her fantastic local knowledge and has some great trips. Did pizza making evening and a Capri trip, both fab, through her. Also, Masseria Farm is definitely worth visiting. Areas for improvement would probably a little more variety at breakfast, maybe some new towels ( still ok though) and a pull out drying rack outside the windows in the rooms on main building. Also worth mentioning are plug adapters, you will need 3 vertical prong adapters here, Antoinetta did have some in reception but worth bringing your own as well as these are limited. Fabulous stay and made to feel very welcomed and valued, big hugs from Daniella when we left. Antoinetta, Daniella, Rosa, Mary and everyone else are absolutely lovely, warm, caring and will help you make the most of your holiday!
