Casa Sorrentina

We booked a much larger room advertised on the website but when we arrived at 5pm they only had a small room for 4 with a bed they added. They said all the rooms were the same but we saw the large room when we checked out. Given the language issue no one to complain to but we absolutely would expect a refund- hotels.com is also at fault so doubt will use that service again.

No one available at reception till 2 pm. Hence no early check in, no one to help with luggage to the b&b at first floor (14 ft ceilings) no lift or handrails. Online pictures of rooms not available on hotels.com. owner told me we got the cheap rooms, but nothing else was listed. Linen and towels only changed every three days, 20 euro charge for clean linen, but we stayed 4 days, they did not change linen etc. Breakfast is good.

Great location in the center of Sorrento shopping area. Loved the fresh cooked egg breakfast with cappuccino and bruschetta. Kinda loud spot for sleeping since near night life. Front desk not there most of the time but responsive to messages.

What a cute and quaint little property. It’s right in the middle of a block full of shops and restaurants. Very beautiful very quiet, but the staff is incredible. Particularly the breakfast staff. The two ladies were phenomenal. Very caring and very attentive. This property is close to pretty much everything you would want to go and do or see.

This location is very convenient for going anywhere in Sorrento. It is on the main walking street of Sorento. You can get a taxi from the port or the train station and it will take you to the main square and then you must walk a half a block to the entrance. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a building that does not have an elevator so you will need to carry your luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The reception is not manned until 2:00pm and so you will need to wait until someone comes to open the door of the property. The room was a good size but there are no windows that look out onto a street. The bathroom has a nice shower with strong hot water. The room was not cleaned regularly and we had to ask for clean towels and additional toilet paper twice. The breakfast options are limited to pastries, sometimes cut-up fruit, scrambled eggs (even though they are fried for you when you come for breakfast, the ladies don't seem to know how to make anything else with the eggs), and a ham panini. The best thing about this place is its location.

Nunzia and Anna are very friendly and serve up a good breakfast in the morning. Ivan at the reception is very helpful.

Fantastic location right on the main pedestrian street in town. Effortless check-in. We stayed in a large triple room. Check-in was easy, and the breakfast, along with the ladies serving it, was terrific. I'd stay here again without a doubt.

We stayed here for our first ever time in Italy and it was great! Nunzia's cappuccinos were the BEST and she made us feel at home and immediately recognized we were both Italian/American which was cool. The room was always very clean and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The town square is literally a 2 minute walk from there, so if you're booking tours and stuff, that is usually the meeting place which is super convenient. Can't wait to stay here again :)

Property was fantastic. Staff amazing. Nancy and her colleague are so pleasant. They prepared fresh breakfast everyday and made sure you had plenty. I recommend the cake baked by Francesco and the freshly made marmalade jam. You will not be disappointed if you ever book a stay here.
