Signora Accorsi is a real Mamma - will look after you well :) shame I could not speak much Italian... The room is basic indeed but you don't come to Bologna just to sit in. Easily accessible from the airport on BLQ bus line and town is served by numerous other bus lines (10 min ride, get yourself a giornaliero ticket). Last service back from the town for No 13 is around 1.00am so no need to take a taxi after the evening out. Good budget choice, will consider in the future

This rental is conveniently located close to the bus lines that easily take you to the town center, the train station or the airport. It was raining when I arrived so I took a cab for 10 euro. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the breakfast is a nice spread with a variety of breads and coffee, yogurt, juice and cheese. I did not mind the shared bathroom because there are two of them and I was the only one using the one at the end near the kitchen where my room was. Clara is a very kind lady and she loves to chat. Fortunately I could understand her because i speak spanish and I recognized many of her words. I think it is great that she felt so comfortable chatting with me. This rental is awesome for the price and the location is in a very nice neighborhood with very little noise. And the WIFI was excellent. I recommend this place as base for touring the rest of northern Italy.

Extremely clean and quiet. Neighborhood feels like you are in a village , not a city. bus service into historical center. Mrs. Accorsi very kind and helpful . Lucky I speak some Italian, however she anticipates your needs. Excellent value for money. I am returning in September. Complimenti! Donna McGrath, London

Great service! Hotel is difficult to find. When you find the address, you must buzz the top button at the door. Wait for a nice lady to arrive, and she will show you to your room. You will need to know Italian to communicate with her. She will prepare breakfast in the morning. She is lovely.

It's good that I speak some Italian because Signora Accorsi who runs this B&B, doesn't speak English at all. She was very nice, welcoming and helpful. She did her best to make our stay nice and comfortable. The room was OK, the furniture was a bit old and there was no air-conditioning (we knew about it though!), but other that this, it was comfortable. There are two bathrooms at the each end of the corridor, and it can be quite loud whenever somebody goes to the bathroom, especially at night. It's just the house acoustics, because the location itself is very quiet. The breakfast was tasty and served at whichever hour we asked for. This place was much more expensive that similar places in Genoa or Florence and had less facilities, but maybe it's just different prices in Bologna, because it was the cheapest of other Bologna options.

It was a very nice stay, arriving after 21hrs, great zero service at all times, speaking almost Zero Italian but leaving with some Italian words! Location close, by cab seeing some sights and sounds before getting to my tranquil room in minutes. Next morning keeping left after the hotel and left exposed me to some landmarks of Bologna...

A very nice and homely place in a residential area. The room was spacious and clean, the shared bathroom was clean, too. Had some difficulty communicating with the hostess - she spoke no English.aaaaa

Conveniently situated between the airport and town on a quiet back street, 5 minutes walk with suitcases to a main road with frequent buses to both the above and the railway station. Taxi fare from the airport was €10.50. Would have appreciated an email address to enable me to contact them directly regarding booking confirmation and a shuttle. Spotlessly clean, with spacious rooms. Exit door not marked. Proprietor does not speak any English so have a few phrases of Italian on hand.
