Hotel Garni Frauenschuh

The staff were really friendly and we had a lovely clean room with lots of space and a balcony. Travelled with my husband and son and they loved it. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The staff suggested a restaurant for dinner which was really good and quite close to the hotel. Nice breakfast.

Great place. Exactly what I wanted when staying in Salzburg. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! (Thank you very much) Nice pool and very close to public transport. Breakfast was good and my room was comfortable and very clean. Only one thing to improve is the wifi speed, was kinda slow. Other than that great.

Great hotel for a stay in Salzburg area. Met by friendly helpful staff. Transport links were great. The room was very pretty and spotless! It felt like staying in somebody's home! Breakfast was fantastic! Really welcoming and a great place to come back to after a hard day sight seeing!

Excellent location, close to town, bus right across, great family staff, accommodating, home made breakfast, balcony to sit out in the evening and relax, room very pretty and extremely clean.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic view. It was very clean with a lovely patio and the breakfast is very good. The bus to town is very close but is a bit of a drive. I recommend the Salzburg card which you can buy at the hotel, to save on both bus and attractions.

My family and I traveled to Salzburg to tour the city for a couple days. We were blown away by the hotel and staff. The hotel was extremely clean and convenient to public transportation. The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants as well as things to do in the town. The best part of our stay was the beautiful and delicious breakfast each morning. If we return to Salzburg, this hotel is where we will stay.

I did not want to leave! First you are welcomed by Maria's fantastic warm smile and hospitality, then you walk up to your room and it is perfect, with knotty pine furnishings with Bavarian accents, the beds super comfortable, the down comforters perfect to snuggle up with, the views and balconies from the room overlooking the mountains, breath-taking and priceless! She saved me money suggesting the Salzburg card, the bus stop is just seconds from the hotel which gives you a short peacfeul ride thru the country before the bustling town of Salzburg. Wifi was great, free breakfast complete and a menu for room service and mini-bar, perfect.

Staff were very welcoming & friendly; hotel facilities were very comfortable & spotlessly clean; and the hotel's location just outside the city, but on a 'bus route, is ideal. We would strongly recommend it.

Everything was unexpected. We really enjoyed the stay there and for sure will stay again if visiting salzburg.
