I have returned to this hotel on numerous occasions. The food is good, cannot fault the service but above all, it is the friendly staff who make you welcome. They help to make it a great holiday. You can enjoy a massage or a circuit of the spa or just laze by the pool. The Azotea bar at the top of the hotel is great in the evening. You can enjoy the fantastic view of the sun setting and the coastline whilst drinking a cocktail or glass of champagne The location is very close to the beach and you can walk around the bay to Fanabe. You can book excursions as well. All worth taking a look at.

Super goede ligging aan de boulevard, veel mooie grote zwembaden ook verwarmd. Mooie gym, mooie wellness en lekker rustig (zelfs al zeiden ze dat ze volgeboekt waren). Mooie rooftop voor cocktails bij zonsondergang. Lekker ontbijt. Live muziek bij diner. Kerstman kwam nog langs met cadeaus voor de kids als verrassing. Leuke kids club met top begeleidster

12 nights stay over Christmas and New Year and we found this one of the better hotels we have stayed at.The staff are lovely, plenty of room by the great pools, the spa is really good.Shout out to Steven who welcomed us to breakfast and dinner every day in the buffet area, with such a fab personality. All of the staff helpful and friendly, room was fab too, we stayed gold level. Would definitely come back.Nice chilled vibe round the pool

Great location and good roof top bar

Zero privacy toilet if you are sharing a room. There was a line of men using the reception toilets, obviously been kicked out of the rooms by their wives! There is a very nice roof top bar that only opens when its nearly dark, which is a bit odd. The hotel itself looks like an airport concourse and is very dated.

My room was very spacey with the bathtub ... next to the bed. There were all complimentary products in the room except of the shampoo (but conditioner was provided ;-)). There was also a cute cotton complimentary bag that i still enjoy. The restaurant was good and pool facilities too.

When trying to get pool towel after a few min of waiting i decided to serve myself. In this moment a pool security showed up and said why would I not cook my own dinner also. Visibly i should have been standing there longer in from of the towels ...

On the plane ride to Tenerife, I initially thought this might be our last visit to Gran Tacande. However, that feeling quickly disappeared on arrival, as it was clear the hotel had made thoughtful improvements that elevated our experience beyond previous stays. Small but meaningful touches—such as luxurious new bedding, an expanded selection of vegan options at breakfast, and beautifully presented welcome drinks in elegant glassware—made a wonderfully positive impression. So much so, that we have already booked our return visit for next year. The hotel manager, Cristina, takes exceptional care of guests and welcomes you with a warmth that truly makes you feel like part of the family. The addition of holistic activities to the animation programme was another highlight; we especially enjoyed the sound bath. Our days were happily spent playing paddle and tennis, and moving effortlessly between the beach and the pool. Overall, it has been a deeply relaxing and enjoyable stay—one we are genuinely reluctant to leave behind.
