City Lounge Hotel

Good location, clean and very spacious room. Nice breakfast. However, there isn't any sound proof system, get annoying when people back to their room late and talked loudly

Stayed for 3 nights over New Year. Staff were friendly and he!pful. Rooms are located off a back courtyard - therefore no traffic noise. Rooms were larger than average and clean. Shower hot and housekeeping came in each day, heating always on. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice - would recomend for a budget break.

We stayed here for two nights on our first visit to Düsseldorf. The hotel is in a convenient location - it was easy to take the train from the airport to the central station, and then the bus a couple of stops from there to the hotel, or you can easily walk from the train station to the hotel as well. It is also just a couple of blocks from a tram stop that can take you straight downtown in ten minutes or so. As others have noted, the hotel is a bit unusal as each room has a front door from the outside. Our family room was spacious, and had a small kitchenette and a small table with two chairs, and we could at least make tea and eat some light food we brought. The room was a little dated and worn, but still okay. The breakfast room was fairly spacious, and the breakfast selection was pretty good, although basic, but plenty to fill us up for a day of visiting the Christmas markets. On the day of our departure, our child had gotten sick with a fever, and the front desk allowed us to keep the room for an extra hour because of that, so we didn't have to wait longer than necessary at the airport with a sick child, which was very nice of them. All in all an okay, basic stay, and we would consider staying here again, mainly for the convenient location.

It was ok for a short stay. The room was cold even with heater but location was good.

The hotel was lovely, much nicer than i expected and the staff where very nice. The hotel is a short walk to the main areas of Dusseldorf but very easy to get around.

Fab location near to Railway station. Lovely welcome, warm efficient service and well appointed clean room. Great breakfast and a very competitive tariff, thoroughly recommend as this was my first visit to Düsseldorf particularly during Christmas market season.

Elevator is absent.room is very Large. .breakfast is good... Taxi is a problem.... personels are very good...price is very expensive at fair time... Room is very clean.... Heat system is normal... The hotel is good as generally.....

Wir, drei Geschwister zwischen 16 und 21 Jahre, hatten ein 3-Bett-Zimmer. "Schmand" und Staub, wohin man blickte: Bad, Heizung etc. Durchgelegene Matratzen. Winziges Fensterchen, Krach im und vor dem Hotel. Frühstück: naja. Für knapp 100 Euro insgesamt eine Frechheit. NIE WIEDER!

Great hotel - not so great area especially at night

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Wir durften schon früher einchecken und nach dem auschecken unsere Koffer in einem Gepäckraum lagern. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und wirklich sehr gut für den Preis. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht groß, aber es gab viel Auswahl und somit vollkommen ausreichend. Zur Stadtmitte musste man ca. 15 Minuten laufen und der Hauptbahnhof war auch nicht weit. Für diesen günstigen Preis findet man nichts besseres! Es hat uns wirklich gut gefallen.
