Best Western Hotel Bremen City

Great hotel located 5 minute walk from Old Town Bremen. Room was a great size and very comfortable. No air conditioning but a fan was provided and this worked well. Very friendly staff with great advice on what to see and where to eat. Great selection at breakfast. Hotel is very close to main train station and tram stops for airport access. Could not fault my stay

The hotels.com web site stinks. The first time I wrote this (long) review and hit submit, I got an error message and lost all my time/effort/text. Now I am even grumpier. I'll try again. Got this room for a very good price. The hotel is conveniently located near the central part of the city. Really appreciated the fantastic, included breakfast. But what marred my impression/stay was the rushed check-in by a brusque staff person. The rushed check-in meant that I didn't get some important information. The hotel has an arrangement with a garage around the corner. But we were not informed that the garage closes at 11PM. So when I arrived at 11:30PM to park my car after dinner out with friends, I was out of luck. I had to park my car in a garage that was more expensive and further away. While we did get an upgrade to the penthouse suite, we were not informed that this would involve carrying our luggage up a flight of winding stairs. A challenge for me with bad knees and back. The hotel is near the train station, a kind of sketchy area. After parking our car late at night several blocks away from the hotel, my wife and I had to walk by some police activity. I suppose I would stay here again, now that I have picked up the info that I didn't receive at check-in.

We had a great extended stay room, mini-kitchen, separate living room and bedroom, huge bathroom. The staff were so nice and accommodating! The hotel was convenient - just a short walk to the train station, a short walk to the old town, and shopping. Hoping that if we get back to Bremen that we get the same room! Oh, and the breakfast was good too - traditional continental and 'american' style options.

The room and hotel were very good.My only complaint would be the proximity to the secondary lift which was used by people to go down to breakfast. Old and noisy and just outside the room. But very good value and liked the drinks machine in the lobby. I think they also allowed you to take away coffee/tea in the morning, but I did not use this service.

The staff is very helpful. The elevator was broken so we got a workout getting everything upstairs. The rooms are very large and spacious, but most importantly, quiet.

A very comfortable hotel in the centre of town. Very helpful staff.

Good hotel in a very handy location, 1 tram to airport and walk to old town and train station.

Train tram bus and the Altstad all nearby - it’s the only hotel I use when I go to Bremen

Room was clean and the area was quiet but also convenient to everything. Free breakfast buffet was a plus.
