Hotel Central Continental

Very close to the central station for bus and train. Great water pressure

The hotel is falling apart. There's exposed wiring, lamp missing lamp shade, and walls missing wall paper. Feels like it will catch on fire any moment. It could be great, as it has the Victorian Era aesthetics. Just very poorly maintained. Sits between two canals, so I am sure the view is good. I wouldn't know because there were scaffolding outside of my room for the entire stay. Something like this should've been made know to me beforehand or offered a room change. Neither of which was done. The sheets were also like sandpaper.

Property is in a poor state, neglected and not clean to the European standards. Staff rather not bother to help, not responding in time to calls and not supportive.

It is very close to the train station with a supermarket right next to it.

It is not as described. There was a construction right on the room balcony and window during our stay and it completely ruin our plan to film the stars at night. There is no aircon so the only choice is to open the window but the dust from the construction was all blown into the room. The staff informed us about the construction but she just said there was nothing she could do. I think they could have at least offered a partial refund because people booked there mostly because of the view.

Excellent hotel with a great location and a very friendly, professional staff. The team was always helpful and made the stay comfortable from check-in to check-out. The breakfast selection was fairly standard, but it was fresh, well-prepared, and offered enough variety to start the day pleasantly. The rooms, facilities, and overall cleanliness met expectations, and everything was well maintained. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel to other travelers.
