Einfach aber angenehm. Sehr zentral und das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Hotel dichtbij station. Vandaar alles te belopen. Kamer oké, rustig. Ontbijt prima en dat slecht voor 6 euro's. Veel cultuur te doen in en rond Heidelberg: het kasteel van Heidelberg als ook Schoss Schwezingen zijn zeer de moeite waard. Verder zijn er uitstekende wandelpaden! Op culinaair gebied kom je aan je trekken!

We had to book last minute, had never been to Heidelberg before, and unfortunately didn't check the reviews, especially coming from a nice hotel in Switzerland. If 'ahospitality' exists as a word then it fits this place, though if you are looking for fawlty towers-type irony trips a la Kafka, it's perfect. Additionally, wifi is non existent (I was fobbed off with bs about networks being terrible in Germany), and it it is forbidden to drink tea or coffee in bedrooms....you couldn't make this stuff up. If your only other option is sleeping on the street, maybe consider this place

No service for Sunday afternoon arrivals, very slow wifi, and weak breakfast. The only good thing is it's close to HD hbf.

Hotel Classic is a basic inn near the train station in Heidelberg. We got a good deal on the room, and if you are going to stay here, you should have expectations about what it is and *isn't. The internet, like other reviews indicated, is terrible, but you can get a good signal in the stairwells or sunroom. The room has no A/C, which can be challenging on hot days. The room itself is larger than standard European hotel rooms, and the hotel has an elevator that hits some floors. It can be a bit loud at times, depending on your neighbors. I brought earplugs, which largely solved that problem. We were working in Heidelberg most days, so only spent time here in the evenings. Didn't have the breakfast, so no comments on that. Other reviewers indicated the breakfast room was bleak, but I peeked my head in and found it quite nice. We found hotel front desk staff (not the housekeeper though) to be very friendly and helpful (we are Americans). They have reasonably priced water and snacks in the room, which we appreciated. If you are looking for location primarily, and are in no need of internet in your room or A/C, you would be OK with this place. Also, we checked in when the front desk staff were around, but they keep specific hours, and won't be there all the time. We were able to get in/out at late hours with no problem with our key card. But, if you are checking in when they are not around, you will need to figure out some sort of key code to access the hotel after hours.

War 1 Nacht da ! Soweit alles in Ordnung. Ich fand nur das Bad extrem klein. Man konnte sich kaum umdrehen. Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit- das gleicht es wieder aus

Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und mein Zimmer war groß und sauber. Das Bad hatte eine Dusche, war aber sehr klein und eng! Das Zimmer ist etwas hellhörig, aber man ist ja nicht in einem Betonbunker. Die Umgebung ist etwas schmuddelig und am Eck ist ein Casino, vor dem düstere Gestalten rumlungern! Aber da kann das Hotel nicht nichts dafür! Im Gegenzug ist der Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe und die Altstadt kann auch bequem zu Fuß erreicht werden! Das Frühstück ist durchschnittlich, aber das Geld auf alle Fälle wert! Ich werde mit Sicherheit wieder hier buchen!
