Very clean but the bed was without mattress cover. Breakfast not exceptional but the hotel is cheap compared to others near the station.

Needed a room for 4 was cramped with small bathropm facilities.

Chose this hotel because I wanted to stay near the train station. Easy to find despite that the streets leading to have street signs! A fair walk to the city centre, but there is public communication two minutes from the hotel. Not ideal for a late arrival as the the reception close early (8pm). As for the hotel standard, service, breakfast etc very average. Nothing particularly to praise or criticise. Perfectly fine with me.

This hotel is just a backpack hostile rather than a 3-star hotel as it claimed. The worst of all is that the hotel charged N$120.58 (for 75 Euro) to my visa account when I made booking; but when I arrived they asked me to pay again. After paying 75 Euro in cash the guy put money back to my visa account which is only N$113.50. It’s weird and I could not understand why they did this. Although the staff at reception tried hard to explain why the hotel owner started doing this recently, it still did not make sense and I felt uneasy about it. I have traveled around the world and have never had this kind of experience before. As a result this was the worst but most expensive hotel I stayed in Germany.

People working in this hotel are quite kind. I recommend to business Travelers from other countries.

I needed a good quality inexpensive Hotel nearby the Heidelberg main train station. I booked via thier own WEB page without any problems. Response came right away. The Classic Inn met absolutely my expectations. I had a Single room, which was well sized, clean and with a comfortable, large bed. The Hotel is only a short 5 Minutes walk from the Main Train station in Heidelberg. The reception desk is only manned during the regular business hours, I got a code via e-mail and due to late arrival I got my room key from a safebox outside the main entrance. It is easy and worked perfectly for me. Breakfast is good. I do not think that you`ll get more value for money. Service at the receiption desk for the check out was friendly and took only short time.

I made a reservation with this hotel, and about three weeks before travel an unexpected medical condition made me cancel my travel plans due to a major surgery. I pre-paid my reservation with the Classic Inn, and after contacting them well in advance with a copy of a letter from my doctor, the management at the this hotel refused to refund or even partially refund my payment. This is bad business. Stay away from booking this hotel unless you have traveler's insurance.

Stayed here despite somewhat low published ratings due to low availibilty of rooms when I was visiting Heidleburg. Reception desk and breakfast server were both somewhat cold and mildly hostile The hotel is dated and a bit run down both in appearance and in fact. While meeting basic standards of cleanliness, the hotel gives off a somewhat depressing aura. WIFI was not free and the fee per diem fee was among the highest encountered in a month of travelling in Germany. Breakfast was adequate but I would have preferred self service rather than the slow coffee server.
