Very good location, clean rooms, but globally more as 3-star leve that 4.

The rooms are more like 3-star level, but that's still okay. The food and (some = most!!) of the service were a huge disappointment. Food: VERY varied (really wide selection, but the quality, preparation, and taste of most of it was very poor. The salami for breakfast smelled like it had been sliced and stored for a long time, sour avocado, cheese and lots of vegetables pickled in oil, burnt pudding for dessert (not crème brûlée!), which was inedible, lukewarm water from the kettle for pouring over tea bags. The attempt at Asian dishes had nothing to do with tasty execution, Thai Pad dish from the menu = overcooked horror. When I told the staff that the food was not tasty, the simple answer (according to the local language) from the waiter was "Das musst ihr sagen der Küche". The service was 10% perfect and professional, the rest was rather poor. The service (HU or CRO) in the lobby and on the afternoon terrace was a disaster. On the first day, she apologized (I think to everyone who was there) for the confusion and waiting, but on the second and third days, it was the same. On the fourth day, there was different service and everything was professional! If the hotel takes inspiration and lessons from this review = great!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort wirklich wohlgefühlt. Auch die Sauna hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Wellnessbereich war gepflegt und entspannend – ein schöner Ort, um nach einem langen Tag abzuschalten.

Leider waren wir mit dem Essen im Hotel sehr unzufrieden. Besonders das Fleisch war jeden Abend hart und kaum genießbar. Es wirkte trocken und zäh, sodass man es teilweise kaum schneiden konnte. Auch geschmacklich hat es uns leider nicht überzeugt. Gerade bei einem Hotel dieser Kategorie hätten wir deutlich mehr Qualität erwartet. Das hat unseren Gesamteindruck des Aufenthalts leider stark getrübt. Wir hoffen, dass hier in Zukunft nachgebessert wird.
