Palazzo Belmonte

Our stay was absolutely great! We had a wonderful time in this hotel! Spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, first class breakfast, just stunning. The staff was absolutely fabulous, helpful, friendly and always attentive! Thank you again, Chiara, for your insightful suggestions to explore Cilento. The gardens are breathtaking, the beach is very clean and comfortable! The location is unbeatable, in the middle of town but away from it all! And not to be forgotten: Great restaurant for lunch on the premises, Andrea, the chief waiter, was incredibly capable and always super friendly! This hotel is a gem, don't miss it!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Het zwembad was heerlijk. Elke ochtend vroeg mochten we al zwemmen. Elke dag zijn er schone handdoeken. Het ontbijt is uitstekend, op een net terras met erg vriendelijke bediening. Vanuit het kastieel was een gave trap naar het strand. Daar stonden strandstoelen klaar en er was steeds toezicht. Via de trap terug was er een douche, zodat je weer schoon naar je eigen kamer kon lopen.

Uniquely located, beautiful castle with large pool, right next to a private sandy beach and in a lovely Italian town

This place should really remain a secret! If anything, the 1 towel per day rule is a bit limiting, with both a fantastic pool and beach right there.

Absolutely loved this hotel, group travelling together we had a villa each, they were beautiful with a lovely sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meet the owner she was lovely and there puppies are so cute. We all felt so relaxed and comfortable here, the grounds are absolutely incredible. So close to town easy to walk in and have a beautiful dinner or do some shopping. We all loved the area. Highly recommended.

Beachfront

The property has a lot of potential but it’s very run down, with little attention to details. Breakfast is average and with extra charge for basics (like eggs), the bathroom lacks amenities, the rooms are outdated and the receptionist has an attitude. Came with great expectations and left very deluded with the service.

The Palazzo is the best hotel in Santa Maria and possibly the most iconic and historic hotel on the coast. I couldn’t fault a single thing about this place. The staff are skilful and polite, the facilities are fantastic, the scenery is diverse in colour and views, the courtyard and architecture is breathtaking, and the food is superb. The owner is great and very passionate, and you can’t miss her walking around with her 3 beautiful and friendly dogs. Me and my partner came with the possibility of booking the Palazzo as our wedding venue, and we knew as soon as we arrived this would be the one. Safe to say we booked it for our wedding and would only recommend it to anyone.

Gorgeous building, lovely pool and private beach. Great location, staff were so helpful and welcoming!

We had connecting rooms and whilst the main room was lovely (sea view), the back room was dark and felt a bit damp on one side. This did not spoil our holiday though as we spent little time in the rooms.
