Maison Lamartine - Nice

Very large and clean apartment, large comfortable double (king) bed, good bathroom. Full kitchen though we did not use it, except for the refrigerator. Nice view out the window/balcony, and quiet street. Terrific, friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast with delicious and high quality foods, and eggs made to order. Parking is available a 5 min walk away. Old town 15 min walk.

Apartment was a little worn (walls, paint, finishes). The sofa bed was very large but perhaps not the most comfortable. Curtains were not "blackout" and weren't large enough to cover the very large windows, but we still slept well.

The welcoming staff. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived a little early. They accommodated us in the courtyard with coffee and croissants. Very caring and accommodating staff.

Limited outlets to plug in devices in the studio apartment. In the kitchenette area, there was only one and in an awkward spot. There was no heat in the bathroom so the floor becomes ice cold in the night. We were there beginning of April. Bed linens a little dated. All towel bars and rods could have used tightening. The shower doors were misaligned so would end up with water on the floor. Aside from the outlet issue, the rest was mostly cosmetic.

Budynek był świetnie zlokalizowany. Pokój dokładnie taki jak na zdjęciu. Było bardzo czysto. Tak miłej, pomocnej i serdecznej obsługi jeszcze nigdy nie spotkałam. Polecam każdemu. Na pewno jeszcze wrócimy :)

Amazing, okay location close to the busy shopping center and a little less than a mile from old town. All staff were tentative and extremely accommodating. Wish we spent more time in this hotel during our stay. Very close to the train. Nice renovated French apartment style with little kitchen was so handy. Double security codes to get in which was nice

We’ve just returned from a wonderful 5-night stay at Maison Lamartine where we had a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Prior to our arrival I contacted the property telling them that due to an early morning flight we would be arriving at the property quite a bit earlier than the check-in time. When we arrived we were told that the room was ready for us, which was really appreciated and a blessing as we were all quite tired - 10/10 !! We were then told that we had been upgraded to a bigger room which was again a plesant surprise. The apartment was lovely - light & airy with plenty of room for the 3 of us, a very comfortable bed and having the evening sun shining through the front window/on the balcony was a bonus which was enjoyed. The staff at the property are probably the nicest, most helpful staff we have experienced in over 30 years of travelling 👏👏👏 nothing was too much for any of them - Julien, Corina, Noémie & Simon and the advice given was spot on 👍🏻 As we had a late return flight, again the staff arranged a late check-out for us at no extra charge, which from experience, is far from the norm 🤩 The only minor issue was late night noise from the next door neighbours on a couple of nights, which I accept is not the property’s fault, but was still annoying. Overall a fantastic trip to Nice which was made ever more special by our stay at the Maison Lamartine and the wonderful staff. Highly recommended and we will definately return when next visiting Nice.
