Diane was extraordinary. She served great breakfast, was extremely helpful with suggestions of things not to miss in Bayeux. Even helped securing a taxi as we left.

Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of pastries and an elegant charcuterie board style layout. The dining room was airy and very comfortable.

Everything was great.

The whole place had character, our host Diane was so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Having a small fridge , kettle and drinks making facilities was useful. Lovely lounge space to relax. reading material, games, radio even a table football was fun. The garden had plenty of varied seating. Breakfast was great, good variety and relaxed. Loved the large table for guests to get to know each other and share travel experiences with Diane at hand for ideas and practical help. The self contained kitchenette with coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hob and fridge was an added bonus. Finally the position was just pefect, so central for all the main tourist attractions. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much Diane.

Unsere Reise nach Frankreich und besonders in die Normandie hätte kaum besser sein können. Die Unterkunft hat einen ganz besonderen Charme und man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Der persönliche und herzliche Empfang war außergewöhnlich und wir haben direkt viele tolle Insider-Tipps für die Region, Restaurants und Ausflüge bekommen. Der wunderschöne Garten war für uns ein echtes Highlight. Bei dem tollen Wetter konnten wir dort abends entspannt sitzen und den Tag mit einem Glas Wein ausklingen lassen. Alles wirkt sehr liebevoll gestaltet und authentisch französisch. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend – mit vielen französischen Spezialitäten und einer sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre im Frühstücksraum. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Gastfreundschaft und Details gelegt wird. Die Lage ist ideal, um Bayeux und die Normandie zu erkunden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Lovely, homey setting with beautiful gardens. Very close to train station and shopping and dining. Five minute walk to pickup spot for touring companies. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. Also loved the pet dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens!
